  • Hello I started body revolution a week behind everyone. I was kn spring break the week you all started. Last year I did great on mfp and lost almost 40 pounds. This past 4 months I got derailed and gained almost 20 back. I decided to purchase BR to kick me back into shape and on a schedule. I am feeling great after just…
  • I completed the Warrior Dash this past weekend in Johnson Creek! I suggest it if only for the fact that there is some male eye candy to look at while you complete it!
  • AWESOME JOB!!! I run my 1st 5K this weekend (color run Racine, WI). Wish me good luck!
  • I have both. I like the HRM for my workouts (I did the 30DS and now am almost done with the Ripped in 30). Those activities are not accurate on the fitbit. I love the fitbit because I don't have to wear my HRM while out for a walk. It also adds in calories when I am more active on a certain day! Love that!
  • I broke down and went on the knees for the push up s*** too! I also don't do the ones where you jump from plank in to a squat. I step in on that one. I have been taking the weekends pretty much off and doing a total of 7 days on each level. This morning was day 11 (day 4 of week 2) for me. Good Luck ALL!

  • I just finished the 30DS! I took off one day and started RI30 this am! After level 3 of 30DS week 1 of RI30 seemed pretty easy. I am going to be a little less strict this DVD; for the 30DS I didn't take a single day off, but if I have something on the weekend where I am active I am going to let myself take a day off if…
  • I am still here, I started about a week late. I have had no breaks. I am on level 3 Day 24 this morning. I have measurements and pictures each 10 days when I am finished! Make sure you check back in 5 days!!!!! I am really excited, and I have bought Ripped in 30 to do next!
  • Maybe this should be included in the "newbie handbook" if there was one. I would have loved to know just how big my stomach was before I started losing weight.
  • I know nuts are high in calories and (good) fats, but if you eat a handful about an hour before a meal AND drink a glass of water right before the meal you won't want to eat as much. This will help you limit your portions. Good luck with your choices. I know that college was a rough patch for me (+30 lbs while there) and I…
  • I am a teacher, and had one of the "foods" teachers who teaches a food and nutrition class look over my food diary. She noticed that I was going a bit over on my sodium. She said that the 2500 level is high for most, but if it is balanced with enough water/liquids it will be fine. If you are doubling it I would say that…
  • I just completed Level 2 my first day (Day 11 total), and I had a really hard time with the last ab exercise. I didn't feel anything in my abs, and my arms killed because of how many plank positions I was doing throughout the exercise. could I be doing something wrong? Does everyone else feel like this?
  • If it is persistent I would go to the doc and have some lab work done. I did, and it came back Vitamin B deficient. I take an over the counter vitamin B 12, but I wouldn't do it unless the doc says.
  • I was on a change in eating habits diet for about 3 months before I started adding in exercise, and I lost over 20 pounds doing it! Since then I have started Jillian Michael's 30 day shred. It is intense but only 20 minutes. While doing this I am on day 10 right now, I have only lost a pound since I started working out,…
  • I agree with others here, before is what I do. Full stomach = BAD. But if you are going to be doing over an hour it might be good to have a small snack before.
  • Bump, I want to know too!
  • I can definitely tell in your stomach that you are more toned! Keep it up, and Thanks for the motivation to get off the couch right now and do day 9 level 1!
  • I am sitting in the same boat. I have lost over 20 pounds with just a change in diet. I just recently started working out 25 minutes of cardio in the morning, and 30 minutes of cardio in the afternoon with some weight training, then 20 minutes of yoga before bed to stretch the muscles. That belly keeps to stay there. I…
  • Awesome job!!! Way to go, and I am glad you are seeing improvements!
  • I personally can't work out (heart condition) so what I do is lower the calories of each meal throughout the day so I have some calories for alcohol. I am a beer drinker, and tried to do the Miller 64 instead of Miller Light, but I didn't get the buzz I was looking for. I have switched back to Miller Light, and throw in…
  • For this reason I have a step stool! lol Although at the grocery store I did ask a tall stranger to help me out. :embarassed:

  • This past weekend I splurged and had 3 pieces of homemade pizza (my sister's leftovers so not "healthy" homemade just homemade. I also had a kid sized coldstone icecream! I did log everything, but it has been so long since I ate unhealthy like this that it actually gave me a stomach ache. I spend a few hours on the toilet…
