  • Carbs are great your body needs them. I'm a big fan of the food diary. I log everything and stay within my goals. I exercise regularly and in under 4 months have lost 62 lbs. you dont have to give up foods, just be aware and honest with your logs. Know what you're putting in your body and what nutritional value it has.…
  • I'm a big fan of fiber lots of whole grains and fiber to fill you up. Also as above posts said lots of water and bump calories.
  • 34 here and always looking for motivation or others to motivate
  • It all depends on how big you are and what you eat now. Log a typical day eating e way you normally would and then cut back from that. If you find you were eating 3000 calories a day cutting back to 2000 would help you lose 2 lb a week. Just don't cut back so far you can't control your hunger and have lots of water and…
  • Check out allrecipes.com there and tons of great recipes you can use for your veggie hating pasta lover. A tasty alternative for pasta is quinoa and it's the only grain that also contains a full serving of protein. Since you're on a budget buy things that can go into more than one meal that will help to stretch your…
  • Results will vary its really up to you and your body. Treat it right, work hard, log everything, and just make good decisions and you'll see results. It's impossible to osay how fast.
  • Eat clean, lots of fiber, avoid processed foods they aren't filling, focus on good carbs don't just avoid them, and drink lots of water. Be consistent, log everything and soon enough you'll start making better food choices. Also get a network of friends for support. Feel free to add me if you want. I have tons more ideas…
  • Your top number is high however I'm sure it's due to the stresses of being sick. Pain increases blood pressure. Also with the loss of 21 pounds you would typically have a decrease in blood pressure. I'm sure its high due to your pain but I would get it checked to be sure
  • If you're Looking for support feel free to add me, however remember no one can motivate you like you can. You have to want it and be dedicated to achieve your goals. Having friends to throw in a good job now and then does feel good though
  • Also keep in mind the exercise is to help prevent loss of muscle mass. Being on a deficit your body will consume some of that lean muscle with the fat. Keep it up and log everything
  • The outside of the store is almost always safe, great advice. Make sure your breads or grain based products start with whole grains too. If the first ingredient isn't whole it's not whole grain.
  • Don't buy new, salvation army or other used clothing stores are great and a lot of times you can get new clothes that still have tags. Either way I don't mind replacing clothes hat won't fit in two months when I can get a wardrobe for less than a nice pair of jeans and shirt.
  • Water weight I lost 15 in the first 2 weeks, ans have been 3lb a week since. Eat more if you're active. Let MFP set your goal based on a weekly goal a d eat back some if. Ot all of your exercise calories. It feels good to eat and lose weight and your body will recover so much faster.
  • Add me if you want I'm always looking for the same
  • Plug you information in and let MFP do the math for you. No you don't have to eat 1200 calories to lose weight or maintain it. Adding exercise also increases the amount of calories you can consume and lose weight or maintain it.

  • Try fitness buddy it's a free app that you can use to find options for exercise without weights. You might also look at c25k or something like it to help tone and lean out your body
  • Eat clean, work hard every day, log it and get a good network of friends to support you. Feel free to add me if you like
  • great transformation, keep it up.
  • if you really want to add a little something to them add a cup of cooked brown rice, can of diced tomatoes, some onions, green peppers and garlic and you've got a power house whole grain high protein meal that rests in your stomach like a rock. Its a staple in my house.
  • Eat some back it's fuel for your body. I don't know about you but my car doesn't run on e and neither do I. When I dont eat the, back I find I'm lethargic and don't make gains in the gym. I don't eat the, all back but I look at it as my eat whatever snack I want fund. Burn 500 extra calories and enjoy something if you…
  • Nothing wrong with video exercise as long as it works. Last week I was at the gym and paying for a Zumba class for my wife and they thought we both wanted to take the class. I'll stick it's cardio and some good old fashion tony Horton butt kicking video before I do Zumba but to each their own. If you're looking for friends…
  • Killed my workout tonight after a soft morning of cardio. My arms feel like rubber and it actually hurt to lift them to brush my teeth
  • Air pop some popcorn it's a great snack and filling too. Three cups popped is around 90-120 calories depending on brand
  • Under eating can be as bad as over eating. Let map do the math and eat what it says to lose say 2lbs a week. Add that 30 minutes of cardio and think of them as free calories you burned methemoglobin and they are yours to eat back if you choose. Or use the, as additional deficit. Don't forget lean muscle burns more calories…
  • Clean eating you simply get more for less. Eat 1500 calories of twinkies and tell me if you can eat just that all day. I can eat clean with loads of fresh fruits and vegetables and be full all day on 1500 calories
  • Awesome start, keep it up
  • Awesome job there's not much in this world to make you feel as good as acomplishing that
  • Feel free to friend me, I've got a similar goal and know how hard it is to work and have a family life while getting. Healthy.
