Wow what a story. The Internet bullying makes all kinds of upset for you. However, you did an amazing job getting your health back. I personally hate running passionately. Lol! I love that you started out with the little changes. So many people think they need to be able to do everything right off the bat and get…

I am only weighing in once a month so I can focus on the changes in my body, rather than the scale. There is something to be said about delayed gratification. I did 120 20" box jumps. I can squat 180lbs was with a regular squat rack.. All my shirts and pants are loose. I got my gym flow back. Yay! The weigh in will be…

Thanks everybody, I do feel amazing! I feel like the biggest difference has been my back. My boobs weighed me down and I always used that as an excuse for everything I couldn't do, but lifting has strengthened my back so much. I think I have lost so much back fat, because of all the core exercises and lifting. I can't wait…

I'm so moved by all the wonderful comments. You are all so sweet. My original weight was 230 current weight is 173, and I'm 5ft 4. :-)

I work out with a bootcamp 5 days a week in the morning. My trainer is awesome and helps me plan the extra heavy lifting stuff. Squats lots and lots of them. Dead lifts, leg press, lunges (weighted), bench press. There's a lot. I haven't purchased it yet, but plan to. The new rules of lifting for women I have been told is…

Both, I started eating a gluten free diet and I take levothyroxine. It works for me, but may not work for others. I have hypothyroidism. There is a group on facebook that I follow to, it's called Thyroid sexy and it has given me a lot of information.

Awe, You guys are making this Irish girl blush! I also, should mention, that I am all about strength training! I hate running, big boobs will do that to you. I do 15-20 mins of cardio max and the rest I spend lifting weights and doing strength exercises. I can see that it has made the biggest difference in my fat loss.

I would dump him on the side walk. Then I would get healthy, hot and sexy and find a good man, who wants me for everything I am inside and not what some jerk thought was expendable. I think the key you are missing to losing weight and being healthy is believing you deserve it. Girl, you deserve to be healthy.

Burpees are my worst nightmare, Yesterday my trainer set up a circuit and after each set we had to Burpees for a minute and then move to the next station. I can do a lot more than when I first started, but I really like lifting much better than burpees. Just saying!!

Thanks for the help! :-)

Girl you were beautiful before, but you look like you beaming happiness now. Congrats.

Lorilone, Don't give up. This journey is tough. I know it's hard not to look at the scale, because you want results, but I would say give the scale a break. Take out the measuring tape, it's far kinder. Also, I don't know if you have been tested, but I know you said you have kids. Have you been tested for a thyroid…

Thanks so much everyone. It really means a lot. I don't think I would be inspired myself if it weren't for the success stories I have seen on this site. We are all so capable of accomplishing our goals.

I have cut back, but I'm Irish girl. I was raised on Bread. It will be a tough thing to break me of. I am thinking about doing paleo, but doing a 85/15 ratio on it. I don't want this become too much of a chore. I know I can lose the wieght and I know can push myself. We will see where the next year takes me.

holy awesome! You look like a completely diff person. I'm sure you feel like it too. I'm turning 30 in less than a month. My transformation won't be complete but I'm determined to not waste my 30's like I wasted my 20's. New Life. Congrats on your success.

I just started retraining myself how to breathe. I've been working out hard at least 5 days a week since July and my leg muscles are awesome, but I would always cramp up or feel pain in my legs, because of my breathing. I started running trying to do it differently with the breathing from my diaphragm and it's so much…

for long term maintenance purposes doing too much will become overwhelming and you won't be able to keep up. Keep it simple, and remember it's a marathon not a sprint. It's about a life time of great health not just to reach 1 day and then go backwards. Eating healthy is the bigger part of it.

You really need to become your own cheering squad. I have been where you are. It's a tortured place. It basically will hold you back if you don't start accepting yourself for who you are, and then saying okay this is me, and I working on it. In your head leave only room for self praise and put the criticism elsewhere. When…
