  • My favourite post. So much inspiration, thank-you ladies.
  • Ive heard people say to people that are fit and healthy....... 'You're so lucky to be fit/healthy/slim...' LUCKY!!!! LUCKY!!!!! Yep, Im lucky alright, lucky I get up at 5.30am to exercise.....lucky I dont eat doughnuts......lucky I think about what food is healthy. I think these people confuse lucky with effort.
  • Thanks for posting. I really need to lose 20 lbs and am struggling. Having people post about 'smaller' amounts helps me stay motivated. I dont want to belittle anyones achievement, but sometimes the big numbers just end up being a blur to me. You go girl! Looking good!
  • Bump. Awesome work Girls. I have ordered NRL4W. I hope I will be posting before and afters too.
  • Thanks for the tip. Mine was doing the same and I also was storing it upright. Will have to find another spot for it.

  • Hello all, I have ordered an Aria scale from Amazon - just waiting for it to arrive. (Im in New Zealand, so the postage takes a bit longer) Im hoping to stay motivated on my weight loss goal. Im also looking for tips and tricks on using the Aria effectively. Monica.
  • Hi, I'm Monica from Wanganui......I just started on here (again) last week. Good to see all the NZers
  • I got some new bluetooth headphones for my iphone - so I can listen to music with out getting all tangled up in the cord. The first day I was using them, on the treadmill for a warmup - gym is full, I forgot to turn the bluetooth on. I thought the sound quality wasnt that good, so I amped up the volume on my phone, only to…
  • Ohhhh..... Im in. Lets start Monday (tomorrow) What time of day are you doing it? I was doing in the afternoon but stopped at about day 5-6 :(
  • I am doing week 1 day 3 of his Ultimate 10 k program today. I have the app on my iphone, and it tells me when to run and when to walk. I will be doing 8.8 kms (5.4 miles) on a 7 min / 20 sec interval. It makes running achievable and fun for me - my heart rate drops a bit in the intervals and Im not sore, or struggling with…
  • The BMF measures all calories burned, so when you are just sitting there - the 1.3 a minute is your maintenace calories. When you exercise, the maintenace calories are also in your total - so thats why the amount is more than what is on MFP - because the MFP cals for exercise are extra cals above your maintenace level ---I…
  • Just over $2 a litre here in New Zealand -- so that works out at $7.60 a gallon....and no Im not kidding you, that is the price we pay for petrol. With the exchange rate it works out at USD 6.21 per gallon, so no complaining from you americans thanks :)
  • Swimming? Walking?
  • Loving all the advice Just bumping for me to read later:)
  • I heard that you can lift better and with more concentration when you do it before. So are more likely to have proper form and get the max results...
  • Sorry that your feeling down "if the problem isnt hunger, the answer isnt food"
  • I had my fat % measured this week and I went from32% to 25.8% in 8 weeks. Today I ran a personal best time of 30mins 30 sec (5kms)
  • Hi to another NZer!!! C25K is an awesome program, give it a go, start on the treadmill and then run outside on fine days. Cant go wrong with C25K.
  • NSV - Non Scale Victory I put ? because I had a slight loss on the scale, but my biggest victory was not from the scale.
  • +1!!! also my mantra is .... "if I dont buy it - I cant eat it" I walk around the store repeating this to myself LOL
  • Thanks all for your support.... I will try to drink more, although I dont drink caffienated drinks, so no coffee, tea, green tea usually (sometimes for a boost) I do drink red bush tea and no cal drinks. TOM is this week. Hopefully keeping a record will help me in the future with TOM gain/water retention.
