My favorite is an egg white breakfast sandwich. Very filling and starts the day off with some great protein. 2 egg whites, scrambled 1 Jimmy Dean Turkey sausage patty, crumbled 1/4 cub shredded chedder cheese 1 Flat Out light wrap. Calories are usually around 320 depending on the cheese I use. Sometimes I leave out the…

My sister's doctor just talked to my sister about this last week. She said when you don't get enough sleep your body releases hormones that make you gain weight around the middle.

Unfortunately, I only go twice a week. The class I attend is Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday but I can't make the Saturday class. Zumba is the only exercise I have stuck with even when I fell of the weight-loss wagon. I was doing it because I liked it, not because I was trying to lose weight.

About 8 months ago when I went to my first ZUMBA class. For 20 years I have been on the exercise rollercoaster. Walking, running, gym, elliptical, DVD's and it was always love/hate thing. I didn't like doing it but I knew I should for health reasons. Zumba is so different for me. I go to Zumba classes because I love it and…

Sounds like a great book. Going to put that on my list to buy this weekend. By the way, great weight loss! :flowerforyou:

I toss them in a little bit of oil, sprinkle with a little cinnamon and bake on 400 for about 10 minutes.

My first Zumba class was a Fail for me too. I felt like I spent the whole time trying to figure out the steps. But I loved the energy and moves so I kept going back and I love it now. According to my HRM, I burn around 500 calories a workout. The best thing is the more I go, the better I know the routines and since I know…

You look great. I love the fact that you realize there are so many things that show you are getting healthier, not just the scales. You have accomplished some awesome things in your 100 days. :flowerforyou:

 When I'm on the treadmill or elliptical at home, I watch Food Network. My boyfriend thinks it's the weirdest thing ever. I have the volume muted cause I'm listening to my iPod but I love this channel. One things for sure, Paula Deen cooks nothing that is low in calories!!!!

When I had to have help to get up from one of those low-to-the-ground beach chairs. Along with all the normal things...clothes not fitting, walking up stairs made me winded, tired all the time, disgusted when I looked in the mirror...

Great loss. I joined a Zumba class 2 weeks ago and LOVE it! I go 2 nights a week and it adds something different to my same ol' exercise routine. Keep up the good work.

Good morning everyone. Considering I went to the county fair Friday night and the Carolina Panthers football game yesterday, which meant I was surrounded by nachos, hot dogs, pizza, funnel cakes and Bojangles chicken, most of the weekend, I did OK. Yeah, I could have done without the apple dumplin' with icecream on top but…

Hey everyone, After 3 months off the program and off MFP, I'm back. I fell "off the wagon" in July and couldn't drag myself back up until a couple weeks ago. I did this challenge every month for several months in the past, with success, so I'm back in this month. It's great to see so many new people as well as the one's…

Hi Kim. When I first started logging my foods, it was a real wake up call about my portion sizes and how many calories I actually ate in a day. Good luck to you and your mom. :flowerforyou:

and here I thought I was the only one that had this awful feeling.

Welcome and good luck. :flowerforyou: MFP is a great tool to keep you on track and motivated. I originally lost 48 lbs by using MFP but due to some super stressful changes in my life I gained 28 lbs back during the spring & summer months. (obivously, I'm a stress eater. ) I just recommited and got back on the program…

Congratulations! You look great. Your hard work and dedication has paid off. :flowerforyou:

Congratulations on your 50lbs loss. That is AWESOME!!!

Glad to see you back. I know what you mean about the "mental" thing. Controling the mind is the hardest thing about getting healthy for me.

So true. Thanks for sharing.

WOW! Looks like we have lots of first-timers this month. Good luck to everyone and I hope we all have a successful loss in June. Don't know about the rest of you (in the south) but this heat is sucking the life out of me and making it so hard to exercise. This is the 6th straight day of temps in the mid-90's and humidity…

Ok, I have got to get serious about this this month. I've been so wishy-washy and up and down the past couple months. Time to get my healthy mojo back. I'm sooooo tired of being in the 170's. I want to see 169 !!!!! June 1 - 175 Hope everyone has a happy, healthy and skinny June! :flowerforyou:

I'm in. Only lost 2.4lbs last month which was entirely based on my bad decisions. I can't do this "part-time" and expect to reach my goals. I have got to stick with it this month. Will weigh in in the morning. Good luck everyone. :flowerforyou:

I measured out 2oz. dry using my digital scale. Then after it was cooked and drained I poured it into my measuring cup and it came out slightly under a cup.

Didn't lose anything last week so I'm still at 1.6 loss for the month. It's nobody's fault but my own. I've only been staying on the program 50% of the time. I know I can do this I just don't know why I'm not putting much effort into it lately. How can I want something so bad but not do what it takes to get it??…

You look amazing. Just shows that losing weight is not impossible and hard work and perseverance pays off. Thanks for sharing.

WHOO HOOO - Congratulation on doing so great this month. Nope, you're not kicked out of the group. We still need you here to motivate the rest of us.

Hi Everyone, Did terrible last week. Gained 2.4 lbs back so my overall loss for this month so far is only 1.6 lb :grumble: Nobody's fault but my own. I have been to slack in my logging, eating and exercising. I'm so frustrated with myself but I am not giving up. I have worked to hard and made too much progress to give up…

Congratulations!:flowerforyou: 50 lbs is a great accomplishment. Can't wait till I hit that mark myself.

May 2 - 176.6 May 9 - 172.6 May 16 - May 23 - May 30 - 4lb. loss but realistically this was after a couple weeks of being off the plan and gaining 3.6 lbs. I am glad for this loss but what I'm most proud of is that I got back on track. In the past, I would have just thrown my hands up and said "what's the use" and kept…
