Pretty proud of myself from this weekend. A HUGE change from my typical Fri/Sat night. Discovered my new fave alcoholic bev: Vodka and Sugar-Free RedBull. It does the job, is fairly tasty and one of the lowest in calories that I've come across! Had 3 Friday night and stayed in sober on Saturday. Shared a 16oz coors w/my bf…

Oh. My. Goodness. Where has this thread been all my (weight-loss) life?! I came across it and if felt like walking into my favorite dive bar - I felt "home." I'm super excited to join you all, alcohol is one of my biggest vices - in the weight-loss world and in general life. Seems like you all will be a great inspiration…

You have a wonderfully positive attitude, and that's a huge part of this difficult journey. Congrats on the loss and keep up the good work!!!
-
You are looking fantastic! Keep up the awesome work!

Great goals so far ladies! My goals for the week: 1: Workout 200 minutes - C25K 3 days, Jillian Michaels 30DS everyday starting Monday 2: Stay under calories 5 of 7 days (loved this one!), cannot go over by 200 calories on 2 days
-
Congrats on making it through 30DS! Your results show a great reward for all the hard work! Awesome and inspiring :)

Hello Pin-Up Girls! I'm back from a 3 month MFP absence (the school semester from HELL). This is one of my favorite groups in the MFP Community and I'd love to jump back in. You all are so inspiring and awesome! Here are my goals for the week: C25K program MWF Circuit training TR Staying under 1300 cal each day (this is…

Just came across this challenge and hope to see it continue on to April! I gave up fast food for Lent, and a group challenge like this will really help me see it through! You all are awesome and inspiring!

Depending on what you're marinating, I would consider it a few tablespoons per serving. Chicken breasts, pork chops and similar size/weight meats probably only have about 2 tbsp of marinade after all is said and done. Although, you could get super OCD like I would by measuring out the marinade to be thrown away, subtract…

Bump! Posting goals later today

My BF yesterday told me that the jeans that I bought earlier this year give me "poopy butt" now because they're so big now! I can pull the off, zipper and button still done! And my rings are falling off now too. It's wonderful problems to have!
-
Congrats! That's fantastic! Any loss is a victory, no matter how big or small. Be proud of yourself :flowerforyou:

Bump!!! Will be figuring out December goals tomorrow. So excited for a new month with all you awesome and inspiring ladies (and any gents  )

Nuts are a great and healthy way to up your calorie intake - almonds, peanut (or pb), cashews, etc.
-
That sounds so tasty and indulgent! Definitely trying this soon:flowerforyou:
-
Oooh! You've inspired me. I think my reward would be for my prom dress to be too big! (I was pleasantly plump in high school)
-
That's what these boards are for - so you can vent or whine or whatever you need to do! Hope you're feeling a little better today. And sending good prayers that the surgery will be successful and worry-free. Keep up the hard work, you'll start seeing the benefits of it again soon!

Don't be intimidated by the length of this recipe! The spice mixes have quite a few ingredients, but also share many of the same ingredients. I might recommend buying the spices from a store that allows you to purchase spices in measurements (tsp, tbsp, etc) rather than buying entire containers. This will help save a LOT…

BUMP!!

BUMP!

Doing the Initial Test tomorrow and can't wait to see how I'll be starting out in this program. Thinking I may try to talk the BF into taking on this challenge with me. We're both SUPER competitive, so it could be interesting!

I just want to take a moment to say how Freakin' Awesome all of you are. MFP has become a sort of obsession for me. I check the site first thing in the morning, last thing before bed, and ALL through the day - because everyone here is such an inspiration and motivation for me. Isn't it wonderful to have a place to vent our…

Reading this kind of made me do a mental slap-to-the-head-while-telling-myself-"DUH!". It makes sense. I don't know why I was trying to over-complicate it. Will definitely start focusing on listening to my body, and not just my menus/workout sched (although I love both!). It's time to start bringing all the pieces of this…

Any objections to a noob getting in on this challenge?? One of my ultimate goals is to be able to do PROPER pushups! This seems like the perfect way to accomplish that. Plus, the 3 days a week can really coincide with my C25K training. So....yes to my inviting myself in?
-
Way to go MaryAnne! That's awesome news. Those inches sure speak volumes about your success so far Karin- So exciting about your new clothing sizes! Very inspiring. Makes me eager for finally reaching a point of doing the same thing (out w/the old, in w/the fabulously smaller new!) Rach- We'll be pulling for you! Hope the…

This sounds delish! Would love to have the recipe! I'm having Chicken and homemade marinara over spaghetti squash

Your food diary for today looked pretty good. When you're weighing in, are you also checking Fat %, BMI, Water Weight, etc? On weeks that my weight loss is low, sometimes there are small hints/answers there. Just keep at it! And keep posting! We're here to support, motivate and help in any way we can :flowerforyou:

So, my goals for last week were: "Goals: 1) Work out at *least* 4 times this week (2 days circuit training, 2 days intervals) 2) LOG WEEKEND CALORIES - The hardest one for me. I'm at my bf's house in another town on the weekends, and my pre-portioned meals aren't very conducive to an enjoyable weekend together...plus, we…

Congrats! That's awesome! About to move on to Week 2 of C25K after doing Week 1 for three weeks, haha. Can't wait to get where you are!!!
