  • The best thing MFP has taught me is that 'just a little' counts! :) Just a little bit of exercise helps, just a little less on my plate helps, etc etc.
  • Thanks everyone!! I think I will go have a nice holiday without thinking TOO much on it. Normaly I eat healthy dieting or not, and I eat very little carbs anyways. I will choose the healthy things of the table, but I will also treat myself something now and then!! It's my holiday after all!!! ;) Combined with a couple of…
  • To me they are always showing the double of what my RunKeeper shows me, so I'm not using them... My RunKeeper takes in weight, pace, distance, elevation/climb etc into the cals burned calculation (GPS app on my phone) and I can't see how the MFP one calculates this realistic... I wouldn't trust the numbers calced here.…

  • I lean on Kenny's reply - give ur body time to handle the changes in ur body as well as get rid of excess water. Don't give up this soon, add me as friend, and we'll walk the road to a slimmer us together!
  • I've only had my TOM once since I gave birth, but then I noticed I gained around 3-4 pounds. Was from a couple of days before and lasted almost throughout the whole P. Gained a pound over night again now, and I'm waiting TOM one of the next days, so hopefully that's why I've gained  (Didn't gain TOM-weight or…
  • When u start out working out u also build muscels, and muscels weigh more than fat ;) It depends on how much u gained of course, but some of it can be that. I also support the other here; excess water, etc etc. Don't give up, it will go up and down some times, and especialy if ur having ur period or ovu, u also might pop…

  • Thanks all! I so easily forget that I gave birth 4 months ago, seems like forever, and WITH that, I also forgot how it is to starting my period since I just recently got it back and I'm supposed to get it in a few days. I'm guessing it's just that... silly meeee!!!!! Now I'm not worried anymore lol, I just guess…

  • No, if that's the only rsn u wanna do it, u shouldn't. U should find a way that u actualy can live with every day! A vegetarian diet needs extra proteins and types of fat that is not gained from meat/fish through f.ex. nuts, so u will 'need' those cals anyways. I think u should find a line that u can be happy with every…

  • Hi there, the store-ready gluten free products are often higher one carbs and cals than regular glutenious products, so not realy a big loss  Have u tried millet or/and quinoa? Lentles of different sorts? They are all good with different pasta sauce and in salads. U can easily bake glutenfree bread that's a lot…
  • Hi and welcome! When u get used to counting and all ur basic food is reg'ed in the food database, it will be super easy to do - and a bit of a habit  I wish u luck in creating a new lifestyle, and feel free to add me!
  • Hi and welcome! This is not an impossible task  Set up goals that are easy for u to reach (yes REALY) until u feel more motivated. U don't have to lose 10 pounds a week to be successful, how about setting ur goal to 1/2 pound just to get u started? The best way to lose motivation is to set goals so high that u fail…
  • Hi and gratz on ur 9 days comitment!! To go a little bit over your calorie goal just means it will take longer for u to lose, so no big issue realy- at least not occasionally  I have a 4 month old little girl, and I know it's a bit different with a 1 year old, but how about talking a walk with a stroller? I…
  • Hi and welcome!! I'm kinda like u, LOOOOVE to sit on my computer hehe. Since I'm a bit geekish on that end, I added an app on my phone called RunKeeper. It tracks my walking and u can see new records and how ur doing. Kinda fun, AND it's something to look at while ur out walking - gives u real time how many calories u've…
  • Hi there and a big welcome! I think what's worked for me this time is not having too unrealistic goals. I often tend to get super eager to get on a program, and set the bar too high!! I fail at the goals and give up... This time I've decided to set the weight loss goal and calories per day to something that's actualy…
