  • I've done it before and it works. I did do aerobic exercise along with it. But right now I'm just trying to get back on track! Good luck and feel free to add me for support!
  • I'm not making it a New Years resolution, but I am working on loosing about 20-30 lbs by October 2016. I am going away and would like to not have so much flub!! Happy New Year!!!
  • I do the same thing!!!!!!! I also went to Pizza Hit last week for lunch and binged on the buffet! I felt like such a fat cow afterwards, but it was soo good! I also judged the woman sitting next to me who only ordered a salad!!!
  • Name: Jennifer Height: 5' 2" Starting Weight (2/1): well as of 1/28- 170 Goal Weight (2/28): 165 2/1: 2/8: 2/15: 2/22: 2/28: Loss/gain for the week: Loss/gain for the month so far: Struggles or successes of your week: I think this is a great idea!! Feel free to add me!!!
  • Weight can fluctuate so much during the day. I only weigh myself once a week because I started getting so discouraged with weighing myself daily. As another poster said, weigh yourself in the morning after you use the bathroom and before you have had anything to eat. Good luck and keep it up!!!
  • I usually eat after I exercise only because if I eat before I feel nauseous. I don't think it makes a difference either way.
  • I always go back to the honey! It just tastes sooooo much better with my tea!! I can't agree/argue over the health benifits of either because I'm not a nutritionalist.....I'm only arguing taste!!
  • This is why I say everything in moderation! Yeah, if you drink 20 diet and/or regular sodas a day ( and i know some people who drink pretty close to that!) then you are going to have problems. But, if you only drink them on occation (like I do with my rum!!!!) then it's not so bad! EVERYTHING IN MODERATION!!!!!!!
  • I only count water as my water consumption. If I remember correctly, from a past posting, teas and coffees can dehydrate you because of the caffeine. I don't think 1 or 2 a day will but several could.
  • No need to be a smart @**! I was just asking the NICE people here at MFP their opinion!!! PS. I am not worried about processed foods, it was merely a question possed through conversation!
  • Haha! My name is not Jedadiah, but I DO live in Amish Country!!! I actually buy a lot of my fruits and meats from the menonite! And in the summer time all my fruit comes from the Amish stands!!!!
  • Yes, to a degree I guess. I have a client who had a viral infection in his kidneys as a child. Because of this he needs to watch/reduce his potassium intake. He is not allowed to eat Peanut butter, bananas, french fries or oranges. This is prescribed by a doctor...not me!

  • I too was under the illusion that bananas were bad bad bad for you because they were high in calories. FAIL! They are soooo good for you! If you ate 20 a day then yes, you could be over doing it. If you have potassium issues then yes, you should stay away from bananas. But if you have no major medical issues.....eat away!…

  • I'm not a huge milk fan so I use non-fat milk to drink. I hate the thickness of whole milk! But I understand the health value of whole, which is why I give it to my son. And I do cook/bake with whole milk....things just come out better that way!
  • I had my gallbladder removed in 2007. Since then, the first meal of the day, no matter what I eat, runs right through me. It wasn't a certain food but it was just food in general. Sometimes it was even water! I went to the doctor's for it and they told me I have IBS, gave me some kind of medication to calm my system down,…
  • And thank you! Now I have this dang song stuck in my head!! LoL I will now have to go and watch this video!!!!!!
  • WOW! Awesome guys!! This makes me feel soooo much better about eating it. I have been on such a peanut butter kick lately and I was thinking, as I was scarffing it down last night, should I really be eating it?!?! This just confirms that yes, in moderation, I should be eating it!!!!
  • I am right there with you! I think I have a 29.1% bf% and I look nothing like the 30 or 35 % gals!!!! I'm in the middle of that....
  • :flowerforyou: I am around the same stats as you are! And I am having the same issues that you are too! I am very skeptical of the eat more way of life, but I'm thinking of trying it out. The only problem is I am not an extreme exerciser. I do Jillian's 30 Day Shred almost every day (I'm rounding out the 30th day on Friday…
  • This is exactly what I've been going through too! I am currently eating around 1200 (trying not to go under) and I've plateaued! I thought maybe exercising would boost it up as it has done in the past....but nothing!!!
  • Scoobysworkshop.com is what I used. I was reading a few posts and saw this one.
  • So I have done nothing all day but research this EM2WL stuff. I am still very skeptical over all this because what I've found, in the past, is that the more I eat the more I gain.... I amd 5'2 137 and holding steady for about a month now and it's starting to frustrate me. I have been doing the 30 day shred, have seen some…
  • ^^^^^ This!! ^^^^^^^ I am the same way. I thought the more water I drank the more bloated I would get but it was the complete opposite. It turns out, water pushes all the sodium and other toxins out of your body. The more water you drink, and pee out, the better it is for you and the less bloated you feel.
  • I am so so so proud of you!!!!! That is amazing!!! Good luck with Saturday! I'm really curious to see how much you have lost! Did you take before/after pics? And did you measure yourself before??? I'm a few days behind you, but I'm still working hard (well, except for yesterday!!). You have been such a great…
  • I don't use them, but I was just talking to a girl who does. She told me she likes them because they seem to give her more energy. Has anyone else seen this effect?
  • I replied!!! Just did this morning! hehe And I'm STILL here!!!!
  • You and I are on the same track! I finished level 2 (THANK GOD!!!) yesterday too!! I can't wait to start level 3. It seemed like so long ago that I was just starting level 1 and hardly making it through!! Now we are almost there....there is a light at the end of the tunnel!! Good luck! I can't wait to see your "shredded"…
  • I'm still here!!! I'm starting Level 3 today!!! I had to take a small break due to getting bronchitis. :grumble: But I'm back at it. I have a love/hate relationship with Jillian. She is transforming me, which I love! But I can't stand her and all her talking! UGH! I have found that if I turn her down just enough that I can…
  • I'm 5'2" and am currently 137 so I don't have much in the way of help to the OP, but I am happy to see a lot of petite ladies posting stuff because it has given me a ton of ideas! My ultimate goal is to be 120ish so all you smaller (in weight) ladies give me hope that it is possible! :flowerforyou:
  • They really do have a 5 min. abs workout on ONDEMAND. So, somebody beat you guys to it......just sayin!
