I had gotten into week 7 in November before December snuck up with ALL THE THINGS. So I've been doing random runs for the last week, week 2 here, week 4 there, and am going to try week 6 day 3 today. Hopefully I didn't lose all my endurance and can move on to week 7. Cross your toes!

I was sick for about a week during the first part of January, and couldn't eat much of anything. I lost weight during that time, obviously. When I was finally feeling better, I gradually worked my way back to eating my normal calorie range. I gained back the weight I lost, plus 2 lbs. When I was back at my "sweet spot"…

I actually had to think about how old I was before replying to this thread... :blushing: I'm turning 36 next month, and working on getting back into shape and looking forward to having more energy in my days. This is going to be my year! :flowerforyou: feel free to add me!

I add it to smoothies, oatmeal and scrambled eggs, but I don't drink it straight up. I like that it's creamier without adding calories; it's awesome mixed with oatmeal, fruit and peanut butter! I suppose I could take it or leave it, but it's my personal choice to stock it in my fridge, useless or not.

^ this!

I'm definitely burning less consistently on each week. I'm just starting week 5 tomorrow. I'm pretty sure it's because my cardio endurance is much better than in the beginning; though i've found on the days where I dig a lot deeper (see what I did there?!) my HR is higher and I burn more calories. If you're annoyed with…

It's not my favorite class, either! I have trouble getting my hands into a comfortable position as well. A good rule of thumb I use is to always focus on my core and make sure it's working hard (you'll be able to tell), otherwise you're doing the move wrong. If your back is hurting, maybe you're leaning too far back?

Last workout in week 3 to be completed tomorrow! Still not so fond of pushups LOL, but I suppose i'm getting better at 'em. Definitely noticing a loss of inches and feeling much more energetic and strong throughout the day. Today was the first day I started looking forward to month 2 instead of dreading it!!

Congrats on quitting!

Capitol!!!

Aha! I was wondering what the heck happened to you... add me again!

Oh boy! You sound like me. People should bet on me at the office; odds are i'm gonna run into something at some point during the day. I've walked into the wall numerous times (WTH?), tripped over chairs, and almost fell head first into the reception desk as I was walking into the office - I have no idea. I also trip on…

Good luck! I am currently in week 3 and loving it! The first week and a half was difficult because I was really sore after the workouts, but that eventually goes away and right now i'm feeling great. So far i've lost about 6 pounds, and over 4 inches  Remember to fuel properly; I generally follow the nutrition guide,…

I am on week 2 day 4 and FINALLY able to walk around without feeling like i've been slaughtered! They don't call it Insanity for nothing, huh?!!! Add me!

I just finished day 2! Yikes  it was pretty rough LOL. I get up pretty early in order to complete it before work. The positive is that i'm buzzed for the better part of the workday; the negative is that i'm ready for bed as soon as said workday is over!!!

Weekends are difficult! But you can do this :-)

It definitely does the job, but it can be pretty tough, especially when you advance to the higher levels. Add me if you'd like!

Hi Chris! Add me if you'd like!

I agree with this - I am 5'6" and my goal is around 155. My goal really though is to eat better and exercise more consistently, so the number on the scale may not be the best show of progress for me!

New friends are great ;) add me too!

I agree - the Couch to 5k program is good for building you up to running longer times because it uses an interval system. Advice for the calf? Try to stretch it out right afterwards, and do small exercises throughout the day to keep it loose. Mine tighten up like that too; it seems to help when i'm consistently stretching…
