I had 2 clementines during my break yesterday. It's sweet and satisfied my hunger. But there are a ton of other ideas out there :)
-
I think the "energy blend" they put in there is probably in some way bad for your health. But 1 can is 20 calories, so as far as that goes...I don't see why you'd gain weight. I drink it all the time. :o

I have no idea if this helps, but this is the scale I have: http://shop.eatsmartproducts.com/EatSmart-Precision-Bathroom-Capacity-Technology/dp/B0032TNPOE Mainly I bought it because of the large display-I can read it without my glasses lol. ALSO it's really precise. I can step on it with one foot, on the edge of the scale,…

This is a terrible idea.

I was just put on Abilify, and I really would like to know more about this as well. I can resist cravings and ignore hunger signals if I know what I'm getting myself into...but if it's going to shoot my metabolism, I want to know if I need to start loading up on the green tea or if I'm just going to be hungry all the time.…
-
You probably severely damaged your metabolisms. Eating disorders really destroy your body unfortunately (personal experience). I encourage you to eat as healthy as you can, exercise moderately, and allow your body to heal and reset itself. A month isn't too long so you need time to get back into equilibrium. Then, you will…

My goal is 120 - I am currently 161. I would be in "normal" by 155 but I am not comfortable there (small framed). I looked my best at 120 maybe 130.

Amazing link, thank you! Looks like I need to trim off some of the fat, but I am not too terribly over. I'd like to aim for the 15-20% category, as I am an athlete by nature but I really have let myself go since college...
-
Yeah, I mean I don't eat every single one back. My elliptical workout claimed 300 calories but I KNOW that isn't true. It's about half that probably so I left about 150 calories uneaten today.
-
Yes -- eat back your exercise calories.
-
Great point. I hadn't thought of that. Yeah, nutritionist would be far more knowledgable than doctor.
-
Yeah, adding it back slowly is probably the best way to go. But maybe your doctor might have more detailed advice on how to do this in the healthiest and most effective way. Expect to gain a little weight at first, but keep your calorie counts the same. Your body will catch up if you let it.

Yeah well it looks like MFP is working for you! I think each website has it's own way of calculating and it's hard to know exactly what numbers get thrown together to do their calculations...but as long as your current plan is working out for you, then great job! Keep it up
-
How different are they? Is it only by a little bit or are the numbers really different? MFP will never go below 1200 no matter what, so if the other websites are giving you numbers lower than that, then MFP will not.
-
There are a bunch of formulas and calculations that they do in order to figure this out. It has to do with your age, height, weight, activity levels, and your goals. The formulas aren't perfect but it is a decent enough calculation. Just don't go below 1200. How many calories are you eating per day?
-
I try not to, because I feel awful if it sits in my closet for so long. Though, I kept my clothes from high school that I really loved and would like to still fit into, but I have not bought new clothes. Whatever works for people though!
-
This sounds like an interesting idea! I love writing letters :)
-
Probably about 20 pounds.
-
Like how I start many things, I just dived right in. Seemed to work!
-
Every day, sometimes multiple times in a day. I may be a little obsessed...but I'm trying to keep it in check and meet the daily calorie requirements. I am not going below 1200 calories.
-
I've been on Wellbutrin for 7 years now (yeahhhhh). I currently have a normal appetite and energy level!
-
Thanks! Sorry for the silly question ^_^

Alcohol has all of those hidden calories!! It's worse than soda. But I am glad you are feeling positive and motivated.
-
I'm 22. Turning 23 in August :) I'm going to start adding people!
-
Alcohol has a lot more calories than people think. When I found out that my shot of vodka was nearly 200 calories, I freaked. So I took a 90 minute walk before going out with friends just so I could have ONE drink. Wine is worse in some cases because of all of that sugar, and you get a larger volume of wine. Just track it…

Sure-it may not have been in the best taste. I agree. We'll see what happens.
-
It's alright - I had to read it several times.
-
I think the entire post was meant to be sarcastic.

This should be exciting! Maybe we could have our own group.
