  • Meat. Also most dairy, because I found out I was lactose intolerant. I still eat dairy in small amounts occasionally though. I also never drink soda, because I hate fizzy drinks. I rarely - if ever - drink alcohol. It's not worth the calories or the hangover, and I honestly never felt like I had more fun drunk than sober.
  • Wait... not even a sports bra? I've definitely exercised almost naked to save the laundry and not get too hot, but i mean... without a sports bra, everything would just be bouncing everywhere, and that *kitten* is painful! :#
  • When I feel like that I usually steam or roast a shitload of veggies (broccoli, celeriac, cauliflower, carrots, brussels sprouts etc) and go to town. Bonus points if you mash them all up with salt & pepper (or whatever seasonings you fancy) and a spoon or two of greek yogurt. For 300 calories you would get a big amount of…
  • Peanut butter and/or some nuts. Tea is a daily thing (multiple times a day, really). And I have greek yogurt almost every morning.
  • I always make my oatmeal with 35-40 grams (1 deciliter) of rolled oats to 2 deciliters of water. When it's done, I stir in a tablespoon of all-natural peanut butter and a handful of fresh or frozen berries. Sprinkle with cinnamon because it's delicious and enjoy! It's super satisfying, the best comfort food ever for me :)
  • Most pasta isn't vegan - it's made from flour and eggs. Also, like everyone else said already, you won't necessarily lose weight just by being vegan. Also, going vegan is something you should only do with proper research and care, to ensure that you get all the nutrients you need. A lot of people don't do their homework…
  • Grate carrots, beets and an apple and mix them together with a splash of orange juice. Sprinkle with toasted sunflower seeds. YUM. You could also add raisins or dried cranberries. Or, instead of orange juice, mix the grated vegetables with some low-fat plain yogurt and make it a carrot/beet slaw! Cabbage (red or white)…
  • I loooove aged gouda or prima donna! Hard cheeses are so delicious. ...Also real, creamy feta cheese. Or grilled goats cheese. Or a really good brie or camembert. Fresh mozzarella on pizza. Actually, just give me all the cheeses (except for the blue ones or the really REALLY pungent ones, ew)
  • You should definitely think about finding some foods that are calorie dense but also nutritionally good for you. I mean, ice cream, candy bars and cake are okay (and delicious), but they don't really have anything to offer nutritionally except for being calorie dense. Avocado, nuts, eggs, oily fish, whole grains, dark…
  • Any and all carb-y foods. Cereal, bread, pasta, chips, cake, cookies, sweets, chocolate, ice-cream (!), granola, anything = zero self control. Which is why I went low carb, so I could get a hold of myself and get out of the binge-habit. It's been almost a year now! :)
  • I agree, but 2% is not full fat ;) Full fat greek yogurt is 10% (it's a bit too heavy for me, I prefer the 2%)
  • Raspberries, strawberries, blackberries, cranberries, blueberries, goji berries, blackcurrants, redcurrants, gooseberries, elderberries ..I think that's all I got
  • Chia seed pudding. Slimy and vile - just thinking about it makes me gag a little.
  • I alway go with the HRM, but remember to subtract the calories you would have burned during that time just by sitting still - the HRM counts all the calories, but MFP has already accounted for the calories you would have burned without the exercise in your TDEE :) You can calculate the number - I usually just subtract 60…
  • I've never had: Mac n cheese Poutine Tofu (though I really would like to try it, I just don't know how to prepare it). Quinoa (again, I'd like to have it at some point) Oysters Scallops Entrails of any kind, except liver (which I hate) Bugs Spam Eel
  • I'de probably eat at least a little bit, maybe just an apple and some yogurt to get some carbs and protein for my muscles. But honestly, I don't think it's THAT important. Do whatever you feel works for you. For instance, if you have trouble sleeping after eating, don't eat, but if not then go ahead and eat.
  • Non-fat plain greek yogurt, all-natural peanut butter, tuna, low-sodium soups, eggs, cherry tomatoes, peppers, cucumber, greens (all veggies, basically), nuts, apples. Recently I've been obsessed with pumpkins and winter squash, as well as all kinds of beans & chickpeas (but mostly baked beans, mmh) :yum: And the one…
  • I was dealing (more like not dealing) with a lot of crap for a while, years back, and I used to just run when I felt like I wanted to cry or scream or punch something. It was like an outlet (and still is, though I'm a lot better emotionally and mentally now). I distinctly remember one time, running as fast and far as…
  • Idk, to me that diet seems way too repetitive and restrictive.. And are you even getting any fat at all apart from the 8 almonds? I'd be worried about not getting all the right vitamins and minerals as well as healthy oils with a diet that's so lacking in variation. And to me, it seems to be an excessive amount of protein…
  • Beans on toast. Filling, high in protein and yummy. Literally takes 2 minutes to heat the baked beans and toast the bread. Just go for a brand of beans without massive amounts of sodium or added sugar :)
  • A mug of herbal tea, and if I'm still hungry I'll have a handful of nuts and/or a piece of fruit or some cherry tomatoes or something. Or some yogurt with berries, maybe.
  • Earl grey with milk, or regular black tea with milk. I also REALLY like this almond flavored tea we have at home, it reminds me of christmas. During the day, depending on my mood, I love chamomile, green tea, Sleepytime from Celestial, mint tea and most herbal teas etc.. I mean honestly I'd drink and enjoy most teas except…
  • That's what I think I'll do. Go running, but give myself permission to stop halfway through if it really sucks. I feel like the love for running is lost once you make it a chore, so I'll try to cut myself some slack (without slacking completely) ;)
  • Such a relief that I'm not the only one who did this! I can relate to all of these posts so much. I was never really big, but my relationship with food has always been *kitten* up.. It was all-or-nothing with me. I remember eating an entire pizza, like 6 brownies and ice-cream, pasta, candy, potato chips with dip all in…
  • Carrots, cucumber etc. you can just keep in an airtight container. Apples and pears you can either just bring whole, or chop and drizzle or brush them with lemon juice or orange juice before putting them in the airtight container. The acidity in the fruit juice keeps them from turning brown :)
  • Roasted in the oven with olive oil, salt, pepper and thyme. YUM. They're also gorgeous raw, grated with carrots and apples drizzled with a bit of orange juice and mixed together. Or roasted in a fresh salad with raw spinach and feta cheese. Mmmm, I love beets, haha.
  • You say that you're not pregnant, but maybe take a test just to be sure? I would. I'm sorry, I don't have any advice on what to do other than talking to your doctor and seeing what's up
