You're stomach, face and arms are visibly smaller. Don't worry so much about the weight, 11 inches is freaking incredible! Keep going and keep measuring! I'm on day 2 myself, and your 11 inch loss is motivation for me to keep going.

Challenge accepted. I can barely hold a 30 second plank right, now, so my core needs ALL the work it can get!
-
Definitely in for that.

Fantastic work, girl, you look awesome!

Your story and pics are super inspiring! I've been considering lifting, but had the same kind of thoughts/fears you did. You've changed my mind! Oh, and even though it's been said a thousand times here, you look phenomenal, lady. Good job!!

Well done! Gaining strength is a great NSV. And those 5 pounds weights feel MUCH heavier halfway through than smaller weights, so good on you!
-
You look amazing! Congrats on your loss and great job on all of your hard work.

Copying this recipe to try next week. It sounds awesome.

This is so dead on. Bumping up to read again every time I think I just can't make any more progress.

A good general rule is that if you wouldn't do it in front of your partner and have it be totally ok with them, then you shouldn't be doing it at all.

I'm 5'6, and I've been eating 1200 cals a day based on MFP's suggested number. I am considering switching to TDEE - 30% though, which would give me 1350 per day. I was having great luck with the 1200 cal a day, dropped 27 lbs, and then I plateaued out for over a month, and gave up and ended up gaining ten back. I've lost 8…

You look fantastic! Way to go !

Blasphemer! Don't listen to her, yoga pants, she didn't mean that. Your black magic is a gift from the *kitten* creating gods.

You look great! Congrats on all your hard work. Being halfway to goal is such an awesome feeling.

Oh yeah, and then there's this. LOL

I travel all over the country for work, and have lived in Texas nearly my entire life, and as far as I can tell, the south is absolutely no friendlier than anywhere else. I can see where people who aren't southern might think they are, but I think most southerners probably know well enough that most of the friendliness…

Congratulations on your new body. You look fantastic!

WOW. Congratulations on your loss. You look 15 years younger and absolutely incredible!

I'm 30, and my husband is 32, but the last 3 before him were between 5 and 10 years my junior. With the exception of a 39 year old I dated for a year, I've always preferred the younger men. Women, I usually prefer much closer to my own age.

My family are all the same way and have given me hell over my calorie counting since I was a teenager. Yet, they constantly complain about how afwul they feel and how fat they are and how "diets never work because as soon as you start eating like normal again you gain it all back." They are all over 250 lbs and diabetic. I…

I doubt he would be judgmental of you, or dislike how you look afterwards, so I wouldn't worry so much. If he's staying with you even long distance, I doubt picking up healthier eating habits is going to run him off. :)

You are unbelievably inspiring! Congratulations on reclaiming your health and your life. You are an amazing individual.

Wow! Great work!

I'm in! I started last week, and tonight I do my w2d1 run. I can't wait to get out there.
-
Wow! Your results are phenomenal. You are close to my starting measurements, and this is truly inspiring. I have been sitting on the fence about ordering this DVD. I'm sold. Just placed my order.

I'm a big fan of truvia. To me, it has a much better taste than any of the other substitutes, and that's even being a substitute user for over a decade now. If you are switching over from real sugar, I'm not going to lie and say it isn't going to take some getting used to, but it doesn't seem to have the chemical…

My husband noticed before I did. i mean, I knew I was losing because I weigh all of the time, but it took him 2 weeks to notice it, it took me about 4 to be able to really see it. I'm 27 pounds down now. I can't wait to see how big a difference the next 30 pounds makes.

You look AMAZING, lady! Seriously, congratulations on your hard earned victory! Your story is absolutely inspiring, thank you so much for sharing your story and your pics. You are awesome motivation to keep going.

You look good in that dress now, but with 8 weeks still to go, you can ROCK that dress to that reunion. Stay focused on your calorie counts and maybe kick up the work outs, but you can totally do it.
