Hey, I'm Pinky (not my real name but don't want to be searchable by my real name online). I've been on MFP since April, 2012 and I haven't quite got the hang of sticking on the right path. I lost 15lbs my first try, and then gained it back when I fell off track. I don't really have any one in my real life to keep me…

I have always been a cereal eater. The only cereal I won't eat now is Lucky Charms (after I saw how that food dye affected my BMs - TMI I know). Been trying to stick with more wholesome, less sugary cereals like shredded wheat bites and oatmeal. Doesn't help the husband brought home Honeycomb yesterday (d'oh!)

So a fat person gets shamed for being fat, and then he or she gets shamed for having weight loss surgery and losing the weight? That is a large cup of WTF.

I have over 100lbs to lose, and I'm looking for a support group like this. I've been reading some of your posts, and I'd like to join in.

I'm not going to go into what he's already said to you about your weight. You know how you feel about that. What I am going to comment on, is that you've already gained 8lbs. That is likely quite frustrating for you. Unfortunately there is a train of thought that being negative to a person about their weight will want that…

I've seen it go both ways. To each their own, and I know what works for me as far as friends on this site go and really that's all that matters to me.

My natural curls fell out due to hormones, and I had contemplated getting a spiral perm but decided against it. My hair is damaged enough, and I can invest the money in a nice, long, curly wig if I want :) In the meantime, I rag my hair for curls and I can sleep with my hair like that without it being uncomfortable with…

Jana, I totally remember when Oprah went on her liquid Optifast diet (though I thought it was slim fast because that's what I tried - didn't work). She came out looking all slim and slender - and then she gained it all back and then some because she started to eat real food again! OP, this could happen to you too and…

Still with us, OP? I have a toddler nephew that I babysit, so I understand how underfoot they can be :) He loves to dance to music, and I dance with him for exercise! He also loves being chased lol At the end of the day, I'm exhausted. Even a little play with the kids is as good for us as it is for them :)

I never finish the last few tablespoons of water in the bottom of my water bottle. To me it's just gross. Bread has to be eaten only if it's super fresh and soft, otherwise I toast it. I tend to eat whatever is on my plate in equal portions, so there's always little bit of something in each bite until I finish. I eat my…

I had Botticelli curls from my youth up until a year ago. Then, my curls fell out and I have wavy hair at best. I'd always loved my curly hair and am still having to comes to terms that my hair may not go curly without help of rollers, and even still they aren't the same curls. I'd never even purposefully straightened my…

We use Splenda in my household, as my husband is a Type 2 Diabetic. No aspartame is allowed as I get terrible headaches (plus, it tastes like crap in my opinion). I've tried Stevia and I didn't like the bitter aftertaste, but I hear the liquid Stevia is better than the powder. I haven't tried Truvia - it isn't as readily…

I lost 2lbs. Yay stomach flu!

This entire thread just proves to me how lucky I am to no longer be in the dating world. JFC :/

That's a broad, sweeping statement. I certainly don't hate her. I don't even know her, personally.

Already married him :)

Pulling out of this for this week as I've been ill - will catch up and start another week on Monday. Keep pushing on everyone!
-
I'm currently sick, and it's affecting my breathing so I will likely not be exercising at all this week :( It sucks, but sometimes you need to give your body a rest to recover. If you're taking a week off to experiment, that's fine but I can't see any benefit in losing weight with diet only (excluding extraneous…

Peanut butter (or any nut butter) on a celery stalk is still one of my favourite snacks - salty and crunchy at the same time.

It happens! Glad to see you back at it :) My update: I'm now at 303lbs. I need to lose 4 more to make my goal of under 300 by New Year's. That would be the best present I could ever give myself!

I feel very safe in my city and province here in Canada. I have the luxury of feeling safe, and far more than a woman or child would feel in many other countries overseas.

I cast the runes. Also, if there's no profile pic (doesn't even have to be you), or no message I'll decline (unless it's someone I know or a friend has recommended them and they are starting out). Honestly, you don't want me as a friend. I'm a nutty fruitcake.

My husband and I were an LDR for 2 years before we were married. There was a lot of online chatting and video chats, emailing, telephone conversations and visits whenever we could. We were lucky as I was in Canada and he was in the U.S. and only 5 hours away from each other, but he didn't have a car and neither did I so it…

I'll open my diary to public...but then I'd have to kill you.
