aside from what others have stated a few other things to keep in mind in a 24 hour span your weight can fluctuate 2-5lbs. if you are going to weigh yourself weekly be sure to do so at the same time (first wake up, noon, before you go to bed)

my boss is about a decade younger than me. about a decade ago we used to play hockey on opposite teams. today at the end of the day we were talking and he said he has to start eating better because he cannot let me weight less than him. right now im about 10lbs more (give or take)
