  • That's sooo cool. I've never seen that before. I'd be inclined to join in! I'm fond of a backwards moonwalk past the supermarket deli counter lol.
  • If it makes any difference, I live in a scenic area and no matter the weather, it's full of people jogging and riding bikes. I see them often but... can't remember anything about any of them! In my mind, they all merge into one nameless, faceless person. Jogging is so normal that it doesn't register with me who's doing it.
  • It would make my day if I saw that. Excellent!
  • The only fat people I remember noticing were tourists, typically yelling in English. People do take their cars everywhere, that's true but do some form of exercise each week. Obviously walking a lot in Paris counts! I have lost most of my weight doing walking here too and not a lot else. 20 years ago, I worked for…
  • Actually, they're from Belgium originally.
  • Just got back from France. I spent much of my time with a French family and noticed how they only brought out a snack every few days in the evening. They'd only eat one, like a small chocolate just for a little taster, similar to an after-dinner mint. Then they'd put the snacks away. Mealtimes were very controlled and…
  • They exist!!!! I've met them!!!! P.s. Sorry for shouting.
  • How fat/thin other people are doesn't affect me. I went for a walk today and saw all shapes and sizes and no negative thoughts entered my mind. I like internalise and reflect how to get to the next step in my own development. I don't want to control other people's lives.
  • Gorgeous: Irish (north and south... yes even Dubs), French, Nordic, Italian, Southern USA (although I haven't learnt enough of northern US accents to be a connoisseur) Worst or feel apathetic about: English (although the further north I go, the more I feel comfortable with them... and I was born in the south), Welsh,…
  • Longest plateau was about 10-14 days. That's a plateau to me!
  • A year! Haven't had any takeouts since then (including soda and pizza). I feel so much better for it.

  • Series 1 intro of The Contender. Great music. Can't help but shadow box/jump rope after that. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kGNNTbNyJws
  • Hilarious about the movie theme tunes on the dancefloor LOL!
  • Every boss I've ever had has done something illegal. Sadly it's commonplace in the corporate world. If you've been working there long enough to change jobs and have it look ok on your resume, apply for a new job. You'll still see bad things going on but a change is as good as a rest. I wish you well!
  • awww thanks :) Hugs and cups of tay all round. Especially to Joselo2! :)
  • Do everything to the best of your ability just for today. That's all you need to do. Can you do it for just today? We're awake today for approximately 12-16 hours. Can you give 16 hours of healthy eating, light exercise, relaxation and kind thoughts about yourself? Tomorrow...... when you wake up, re-read this post. :)
  • I got 3 songs and sick fecker that I am, the CD's already in my will. Leonard Cohen - The Partisan http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oG4ndbhOkpI Neil Young - Red Sun http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bYhGvMKkq64 RFK's Mindless menace of violence speech. Probably the only thing that, on a rough day, can make me cry.…
  • Trained in Judo and Karate as a child. Tae Kwon Do as a teen. Boxing, Muay Thai, Judo and freestyle wrestling as an adult.
  • It sounds like change, and in particular a lasting lifestyle change is problematic for her. People in my life have wanted to control how much progress I make and how quickly and easily they can push buttons to sabotage it. Often their sabotaging is part of their past manipulation. They know how to make your life difficult…
  • Undead holy priest called Ruri. I remember running to the Undercity elevator doors just as they shut in my face. Saddened, I turned away and said to a friend "I must be too low level" haha. Two classics from early WoW: 1) A friend levelled herbalism without the map. He spent the whole time squinting at the terrain to find…

  • I had it and the doc said it would just keep coming back. Saw a physiotherapist, tried inserts, better runing shoes and also repeatedly plunging into ice water/warm water (ice/heat therapy). Nothing helped. When I stopped running for good, it went away. Had some terrible times with it though, dragging my leg after a run so…
  • My gym is in the worst part of town. It's a boxing gym and has holes in the roof and wet patches where it's rained. The treadmill slips when you run on it, not because it's wet but because it's just plain broke. There's also mold on some of the walls. A lot of criminals train there, I see their police bracelet monitors.…
  • I don't know of one. She can use http://www.bing.com/translator to translate the pages if that is the biggest problem for her?
  • 39 year old gamer here (that fire-cracker noise you heard was the sound of my ancient bones cracking as I sat down). >< I started gaming on a Binatone TV Master in the late 1970s that pre-dates the Atari 2600 in the UK. Even though I have a PS3, I think the best era of gaming was the 1980s. I'm a casual gamer so 80s style…
  • I've lived in over 20 different towns/cities around the country.
  • Antwone Fisher - Closest feeling I've had about my own life from a movie. Helped me process a lot of stuff.
  • In 1981 when I was 8 years old, I bought 'Prince Charming' by Adam & The Ants. I used to run around the house with a piece of white tape over my nose. But that's my problem, not yours. Aaaaaaaa-ha! airrrrrrr-ha!
