  • My drivers license is the weight I was when I was 18 - 135. I did once have a worker suggest (rudely) that I needed to update it and I gave her like 5 pounds heavier - I was a bit annoyed and not happy with the service there to begin with that day
  • without seeing what you are eating its hard to say - I would suggest more calorie dense food when planning your meals. I struggle to eat my calories sometimes but it is more from just being busy and not eating lunch. I have found that carrying a protein bar or snack with me helps - I like the special K and Luna bars but…
  • My thoughts are if you are going somewhere where cake is being served - say a birthday party - eat before you go and let yourself have a small piece and enjoy it - as long as you eat it in moderation then you will be fine. its better to allow ourselves a little of what we like then cutting ourselves off and then gorging on…
  • I have found that when I do squats, lunges (even if I dread them), and walking on the treadmill at a higher incline (above 5) or Hiking (on trails with ups and downs) > the last two depends on the weather here. Helps to tighten and tone and lift my booty
  • :blushing: really should watch what I type
  • I bought a pair at ****s Sporting Goods, have also seen them at walmart. Most sporting goods areas should have them - try them on if you can to see if you like the fit and have the right movement in you hands before buying a pair. ---ok I can't help the stores Name why is it blocked out?
  • I'm 5'3 -5'4 depending on who measures me and after talking it over with my doc my goal weight is about 140-145 for now and then to see how I feel at that weight and reconsider from there. Last time I was around that weight I was 135 and most people thought I was too thin.
  • I would check and see if the resturant you are going to has a menu and/or nutrional info on their website. This can help you plan what you may want to eat and know what may look like a healthy choice but is really not. Drink water instead of soda or alcohol to cut calories. Otherwise enjoy the meal and don't beat yourself…
  • I log exercises that the fitbit wouldn't pick up - it will have you put in the start time on you exercise and then the programs don't double count the cals burned during that time frame
  • Yes, I would warm it up to liquid usually in the microwave for 15-30 seconds at a time (it becomes liqued at a failry low temp) and measure out with either a measuring cup or spoons depending on the recipie. I also used it in smoothies and the effect is if you haven't had it like that before can give you an upset stomach…
  • I've found that going to thrift stores in areas that have higher incomes typically you will find better items. Not sure if you have platos closet but its a store for teens/young adults (kinda like once upon a child) they usually only accept clothes that are in style, for basics check out your local super store walmart…
  • I didn't see it on Dr Oz, I was shown the book by a friend - the recipies are good and if you do the smoothie recipie it tastes great - I use coconut oil in place of regular oil when cooking - cakes turn out alot moister and even when grilling or frying chicken the meat isn't full of oil when you fry with a coconut oil in…
  • There is a great book call Eat Fat Lose Fat and it tells you about coconut oil and its benefits. http://www.eatfatlosefat.com/

  • I too have found that between being a mom, wife, student and full time worker its hard to fit in going to the gym - so I don't I do my workouts at home - we bought a treadmill as a gift to eachother last year and I have DVD's that I use. It makes it easier to be able to do a workout when I can fit it in at home verses…
  • Ok heres what I did with my two girls - I have pierced ears got them done when I about 6 or 7 . My oldest had hers done when she asked when she was 7 then wanted them taken out less then 6 mths afterwards because they 'bugged' her - she begged for over a year to have them done. For my youngest now 6 - she was 5 we did them…
  • i do smaller portions with my kids and then I throw out whats left on there plates - its hard to see food thrown away but it helps to not snack off there plates. Its easier for me in the winter as we really push to not eat or drink after eachother because of the 'sickies' going around.

  • I job/run a bit still working my way up but I am a 38DDD-40E depending on the bra- I double up my bra with a workout tank with shelf bra while working out and the girls don't move at all. If you are going to run make sure you supported well - there are alot of great workout bras for women with larger chests - moving…

  • I enter mine as Circuit training, general - It is best to use a HRM but as I don't have that I figure this was the best way to input it esp with the small stops btwn workouts to adjust weights etc.
