You've got ACV? I have one word: Collards.

It used to be 11 classes. Now it's 14, including the one she teaches. So, on that front - never mind the other stuff, because that does sound douchey - I can more or less see where her friends are coming from.

Except you've: gotten terms wrong (particularly GRAS); made at least one claim that is demonstrably false (specifically the "pamphlet" claim); moved goalposts; shown that you apparently don't understand the difference between a compound containing a particular chemical and the pure form of said chemical; shown that you…

I made it about 15 minutes through. Yes, he is. Funny thing is that he started out OK, but he quickly lost his way and started talking about mouse studies and acute occurrences, ignoring overall/long-term fat/weight management. And he's on the insulin theory. You know, the one that has been thoroughly debunked.

I used to at my old gym. I just started squatting one day. He started to give me some crap - I just gave him "the look" and told him he could either work in, or pick one station and use it - I don't care, but I was squatting.

Where's that awesome button when you need it?

I don't know. It takes me a lot of alcohol to get through most Cage films. If I were near a pool, I might fall in and drown, too. Ergo, there would be a causative effect.

That's often the best way to read the MFP forums.

Per SS 2nd edition, p289: "People without access to bumper plates may choose to use the barbell row instead of the power clean."

I just lost all respect for you.

And this is why generally like to read threads the whole way through before replying. Of course, I'm breaking that "rule" now. But yeah: whatever != however much

Word. And wrt to the bolded: especially if OP is trying to lower carbs, I suspect that some (many?) of those extra 200 Cals or so are carbs, which would also help retain water.

What have you been eating in the hospital that hasn't caused you distress? As a start, more of that, and foods/drinks like it.

It didn't say that was true for people with long femurs only. In fact, it states right in the beginning that knees not going past toes is a myth.

It's because the deadlift is mis-called a "pull." This is because it tends to incorporate more posterior chain (hamstring, glutes, spinal erectors...) than squats. Note that I said "tends" - some people (especially dependent upon squat/dl styles) will get similar activation from those muscle groups. In addition, that the…

Of course not. The cat owns you. Now, off to read the rest of the thread.

After your procedure/appointment, of course.

If that's what they taught you, you should sue to get your tuition back.

Wait, you changed your mind/story when you found out your expectations were incorrect? You're doing it...........right.

I haven't had the chance to try it, but someone in another thread recommended coconut rum with Cherry Coke Zero. The reason I haven't tried it is because I haven't been able to find a 12 oz can, 20 oz, 1 L, or 2 L bottle of the stuff and I don't want to spend however much it is nowadays on a 12-pack.

I have replicated your study with similar results. Submitted for peer review.

The gym is my sanctuary. When I'm lifting, that's when I'm able to focus on something other than whatever may be nagging me. Granted, it doesn't always work - and any actual problems I'm facing don't just go away - but it helps calm me some and gives me a little peace.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FyWfUEGyrdk eta: Oh, and I tend to go to sleep around 9:30-10:00 and wake up at 6:00. Sometimes I sleep mostly throughout the night; sometimes I end up waking around 4 or so to go pee; every now and then I wake up early and have trouble getting back to sleep. So usually close to 8 hours…

Before we go any further, do you know what a literature review and/or meta-study is?
