Looks great ladies! I admit, I am a fitness junkie. Hence the reason I chose it as my profession. Definitely do your own thing based on your goals. Last week was a laid back recovery week for me. This week I am stepping up the Interval training.

Tough one! Men can get softly moody when they are stressed. Especially when they carry the financial weight of supporting a family. Maybe you should see a relationship counselor before making any major life changing decisions.

Kettlebell training is another fabulous option for strength and cardio combination. Google u-tube for videos.

You are on the right track! Each Sunday I design my training for the week as well as a meal plan. This takes the guess workout and stress out of the equation. Without a "road map"... you truly never know your final destination! Planning is KEY!

Your caloric burn is based on age, weight, sex and a few other factors. Larger individuals may tend to burn more than smaller. Think Mac truck vs. a Prius. The mac takes more energy to move it. Zumba is definitely not a high intensity cardio work out, but you can certainly go all out and get your heart rate elevated into…

On days where you have the energy bust it out with a HIIT workout 30-45 minutes. On days where you are just lucky to have made it into the gym and not feeling "in the mood" listen to your body and do a more leisure workout 45-60 min of moderate exercise. All in all listen to your body, but challenge yourself! Most often…

That is the right mindset! Learning to LOVE your body fit!

I agree on cardio after your strength however...try intermixing cardio and strength for a top notch caloric burn. Intermix little 60 second intervals of cardio between your weight sets. (Jump rope, jump squats, jumping jacks, etc... Pick your poison)

I like to think the universe sometimes forces our hand. Forces us to go outside our comfort zones. Maybe you can learn to see this obstacle as a new opportunity! If you could pursue anything what would it be? Maybe this is an opportunity from the universe to focus on yourself 100%. I always try to find the "magic" in the…

No probably not! More like strength for the core.

Have you tried Water Exercise classes or Pilates classes/videos? That might be a good place to start!

You can add me if you like!

Hey there! Eat the majority of your complex carbs early morning and afternoon. Complex carbohydrates such as whole grains and legumes give the body sustained energy. Simple Carbs such as fruits and processed sugars enter the blood stream quickly and give the body an instant surge of energy, but also lead to a roller…

You'll do great. Your Yoga practice is your own. It is about listening to your body and finding "your" pose. No final destination, no perfect pose. Just enjoy the flow linking the movement with the breath, it is a meditative practice. You will LOVE it!

Find a great fitness trainer and let them beat on you for a couple days a week! Hee Hee

Feel free to shoot me a message if you need any further explanations. I am going to post a few new workouts each week. Let me know if you have any requests! Feel free to friend me!

You might have to do a "google search" on the exercise name for the time being. My next mission is to start a "video blog" and videos for "youtube". Videos are definitely the best way to ensure good form and an effective workout!

Thanks! Just added you!

Awesome! Just what I need. Well maybe a mean drill sergeant too! Hee Hee

Thanks for the wonderful response! Great to have MFP friends to really push me to the max and not let me get away with any excuses! The more I put my intentions out there the more focused I am!

Definitely have something small before you workout. This will give you the energy to give a lot of effort and burn more calories. I teach fitness and see a lot of participants dragging when they do not eat before their workout! Suggestion: Whole Wheat English Muffin and Peanut Butter

I'll add you as a friend! Fellow Minnesotan!!!

GREAT goal! You could even try throwing in challenge for yourself on those walks. Find a landmark along the way just a short distance where you might jog to the next landmark. Repeat this a few times just to get the heart rate up. You will burn more calories in the same amount of time!

That's is a very smart strategy! I often tell my clients, the first 6-12 weeks is not about weight loss but about focusing on creating the habits and behaviors that lead to weight loss!!!

Thrilled to have added you!!!
