  • You make everything groovy.
  • @hawkins410 and @MissionEnforcer : Thank you so much for this awesome, amazing challenge! I look forward to it soooooo much for so many reasons, but one of the biggest is all the time and effort you put into it! Thank you again and again! @120maggie : Thank you for being such a wonderful team leader. You keep us on track…
  • I've been so sick this week, which is why my numbers are so low. I will have 700 minutes before this ends tonight, one way or another. Team 1 will get it done! B)
  • CHALLENGE #2 Week 2: “RANDONNEE ON REUNION!” (5 km outside) I chose this because I finally felt well enough this morning to walk my furry-faced babies for their 3.17 miles. The sloth dog and the elder dog are walked together for 1 mile at a nice 3 mph pace. Lilly the Holy Terror is speed-walked for a bit over 2 miles. It…
  • CHALLENGE #3 I ate 5 different green fruits/veggies: kiwi, spinach, raw cabbage (in my Asian salad), broccoli, and green grapes.
  • Challenge #3 I ate 4 different green fruits/veggies: kiwi, spinach, raw cabbage (in my Asian salad), and green grapes. And broccoli. I forgot to include the broccoli.
  • CHALLENGE #1 Week 6 “FROSTBITE FOOTRACE OR IDITAROD?” Option #3 I did 12+ miles indoors on the treadmill. The reason I did this particular one is that I'm sick and it's one of the few things that doesn't make me dizzy or more congested. I really prefer being outside, but that is just not happening until maybe this weekend.…
  • I just want to apologize to everyone for my low numbers. The first part of the week was trashed because of after school obligations, and then I caught a cold or whatever. I've succumbed to the snottiness that is prevalent at the high school (my day job). I will have video 2 done tomorrow. No worries, I promise.
  • How do you stand it? All this cuteness leaving your house? I'd be so depressed.
  • Challenge 3 Thyme: It was time to try thyme! I put thyme in my riced cauliflower, roasted chicken, and spinach dish. I used thyme because I had it in the pantry. It was very aromatic and made my dish taste greener. I also realized that I don't really like thyme.
  • Challenge 3: I've made it 5 days with no chips of any kind and no peanut butter. This and a pre-log-and-stick-with-it challenge are the best type of challenges for me to lose weight. I really needed to put a quash on the Sun Chips for sure. Soooooo, thanks @MissionEnforcer and @hawkins410 !
  • Challenge 2 would have been much easier if a 100 lb. kuvasz named Forte the Destroyer hadn't decided that it would be the absolute best time to lay on his mama.
  • Challenge 1 I did the 10.49 miles. It was a combination of indoor and outdoor. I did 9 miles of it outdoors as I was walking with my dogs, who are my very favorite people in the world, with the exception of my husband. It's good for their health and for mine. Plus atired dog is a good dog. Then I did 4 miles inside with my…
  • Hi all! So I did the 10.49 miles broken up a bit. I guess if it can't be broken up, I'll go with the 5K, which I did with my dogs outside. The reasons I take my dogs with me is 1) a tired dog is a good dog and 2) they are my favorite people other than my husband. I also walked 2 miles with my BFF at school yesterday, and I…
  • Soooooo much cuteness! Love, LOVE, LOVE!
  • Water will be finished tonight. Have maxed minutes. One video down, one to go. ROCK THIS WEEK TEAM ONE! <3
  • There's so much sickness here that all the schools in the area closed for a couple of days last week. Sending good vibes to all who are sick. <3 I finished 1 foot massage video earlier in the week. Will do 2 tonight, and tomorrow I'll finish the BAFMV .
  • So a food I've been tempted to try but have always shied away from is sushi. Somehow the thought of raw fish is just gross to me. Today I bought dragon rolls made with shrimp, rice, avocado, and I guess seaweed. It was really good, especially when I didn't add the wasabi (boy, that'll open up one's sinuses!) to the last…
  • I made beet chips last year. I used my mandoline to slice them and almost took a finger off (the good news is I wouldn't have been able to see the blood because by that time the whole kitchen looked as if an axe murderer had killed a family of 5). I roasted them in the oven after adding a bit of before seasoning. They were…
  • <3
  • Look at all those 25s! Team 1 ROCKS! <3
  • Here is a picture of Loki in his wheels. These wheels went on to save another dog's life after Loki left us.
  • @TamiJo1004 Of course I'm in <3 @katharmonic Yay! Congratulations
  • We had a kuvasz who became paralyzed in his back legs. We bought him Eddie's Wheels, which he took to right away (and kuvazok are not easy to train). We were able to keep him for another 1.5 years, which meant the world to me. The funniest thing I ever saw was Loki in his wheels taking off through the landscaping after a…
  • @ka97 you might try Group Centergy, Body Flow, or plain old yoga to help with your minutes. I do that and spin to add minutes that are gentler on my body.
  • @TamiJo1004 that and I hope you have an awesome day! Forte and Crash will be lying on their beds, but it seems a little evil to say it to Lilly, the Holy Terror. She's behind bars when I leave. >:)
  • @smile_laughter , I've had to duct tape my mouth before when I've been making brownies for my students or for the track guys. I feel you!
  • Yesterday was a snow day, so I was able to get lots of minutes in and the hike. I just finished the videos. During my planning period, I play them on my Smartboard. Sooooo much better than doing them at home with a laptop.
  • @Vowder However do you stand the cuteness? Baby dogs!
  • Do our extra minutes go to help the team?
