I was just there yesterday- LOVE IT! The one I go to is 35 or so miles away, but I travel up there for work and occasional appointments, so I time my TJ shopping trips for those times. I also have a lunch date with my husband while I'm up there. I love TJs!!!!!!!!

Jealousy is a *****...even people who are supposed to love you unconditionally can be guilty of this. You have done fabulous!!!!

The "quick add cals" is a dead giveaway that you aren't logging accurately, hence your problem.

All of those seem really high to me. I am in maintenance and eating around 1800/day with moderate exercise (4-5 x per week, various workouts- kickboxing, Zumba, C25k, and walking) and an active job and am maintaining within a pound, following my glycogen stores replenishment...yeah, confusing no doubt!!!!!! In case anyone…

I was going to say don't take money with you that could be used at the vending machines. Easy. Also, pack your own snacks...good luck on your new endeavor!

My opinion of a "ideal" weight for someone is 1) where they feel the most happy/comfortable and 2) where they are free of co-morbidities (high blood pressure, diabetes, etc.) associated with excess weight. So no, the BMI charts are not good for everyone. Personally, I am within my "normal" weight range according to BMI,…

I am in maintenance as well and using 6:1. Just started so we will see. I also work 3rd shift (12 hrs), so the timing of my meals for some reason is complicated for me. Right now my meals are at 1am and around 1p-4p, depending on when I wake up during the day. I have put some weight on in the last few weeks since I entered…

I'm no longer overweight, but I used to be morbidly obese at 5'4 and 302 lbs. Anyway, I respect that you want other friends who are similar to you, but still wanted to say "Hi!".. Welcome!

In for the food porn that only MFPers know how to provide in the perfect amount....

Something you said in your post struck a chord with me. I am in maintenance and having to deal with watching my glycogen stores rev up and the resultant water weight gain...ugh. So much of keeping the weight off is remaining vigilant and not becoming complacent. I am hoping the fact that I am terrified of gaining weight…

Leftover Skinny Taste Stuffed Pepper Soup minus the rice. OMG yum!

You look amazing! Love the tats, too!!!!

I am REALLY into the peanut butter/banana flavor combo, so today's green smoothie will include avocado, frozen ripe banana, spinach, PB2, and my homemade almond milk.

I think you're a hero- she won't forget to do it now, I think! LOL

While you are preparing dinner, pop a piece of gum in your mouth. You'll think twice before grazing. OR, snack on baby carrots while you get dinner going- that's my go-to. Baby steps on changing your habits. Good luck!

WOW, nice job! You look great!

I am between 5'4-5'5 and weigh 140. I'm in a US 8. Maybe a 10 if they run small. Last pair of pants I bought were size 8 and they are on the verge of loose, so... who knows...I'm a 6, 8, OR 10. LOL Clothing sizes are ridiculous.

Same here. Banana Bread with any type of nut or seed butter slathered on was one of my recent screw ups. My son brought home some Little Debbie brownies from school on Valentine's Day and even though those are the junkiest things on the planet, I obsessed over them. I hate the power food has over me. It makes no sense.

I've got almost 400. I would love to meet the person who has 1000. There are a few people on my FL who have like 700 +.

Um, the surgery is no guarantee. It is easy to either not lose weight or gain it back of you don't make good choices. If you see it as a cure, you won't be successful.

Thanks for posting this- I have lost a total of 164 lbs in 2 years and you can imagine the loose skin I have- not a pretty sight. I still cannot look in the mirror without my clothes on, but with clothes on I can't stop looking! LOL Congrats on your success and your fabulous attitude! You inspire me.

My only suggestion is to get it in when you can- exercising with your students during practice is a great idea. Also, what about weekends to get a couple of long workouts in? That might have to be your life while school is in session Aug-June. In the summer and on breaks you could really hit it. Just do what you can. Even…

I agree with the rest- it's your inaccurate logging. Why is Jim Beam logged as 0 calories? Also, I noticed there's an entry for a Starbucks latte that is wrong- it's not 60 cals for a Grande. Try 2x that.

You seem like such a sweet person- beautiful inside and out. I think you definitely need to make a change on the relationship front, since it is affecting your mental AND physical health. Good luck to you!

Current: Registered Respiratory Therapist Dream job: Broadway Musical Actress Seriously. If I could be ANYTHING I wanted...that would be it.

I am getting ready to try it- I already keep coconut oil in the house at all times, but now I need to buy or make some ghee. What I heard about it that intrigued me was that if you drink it for breakfast, you can go until like mid afternoon until you feel hungry again. Give me some of that!

It totally is! Nutritious too!

Lately I've been eating homemade bean-less chili topped with a scrambled egg and avocado. My husband wants to barf when I do that.
-
I have been thinking about doing these occasionally in order to up my activity on my fitbit to try and get my 10,000 steps/day in. These videos seem perfect right now due to a lot of us being snowed in...ugh! Congrats on finding activity you like!

I used to buy that stuff, and some of it is rather tasty. Now I think it's frankenfood. I'm not sure what's in it.....
