  • I need low impact as well due to health issues, my two main ones are roller skating and biking. When I have access to it swimming is the absolute best though and alleviates a lot of pain. Also yoga!
  • in for the booty Also, I wish I took a before picture because my butt has gotten SOO much perkier this past year. Squats are awesome indeed. Good job ladies :)
  • it is soooo easy to get lots of protein (even with low calorie!!) lots and lots of tofu, protein powder, eggs, veggie substitues (some of them even have similar macro's to real meat, but taste x10000 times better imo), obvious but fish, beans... There are a lot of simple recipes you can make when you need some more protein…
  • I can do a 5K in about 30 minutes now at an easy pace, however it took me long to get to that point! I've never had good endurance and I often had to walk most of the 5k in the beginning. So when I first started it took me about 40 (sometimes 45) minutes!
  • more protein, more vegetables, and perhaps more calories because that seems like a very small amount of food
  • I simply try to eat a small snack that is filling! (or diet coke ;) I find a hard boiled egg+1tsp of mayo works well for me. However if you are really hungry there's no reason to deprive yourself of food. Eat a small meal/snack filled with lots of healthy goodies that will fill you up and leave you satisfied!
  • Only if I'm the big spoon. It gets hot and uncomfortable usually but I love falling asleep with someone in my arms. ahh:love:
  • You have to blend them together and then add some milk/almond milk and cinnamon! mmm
  • :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: YES! I was just about to make a similar post, and then I saw this. There is so much false and biased information out there, I'm happy someone has finally set it straight :)
  • You should do both! I use my bike to commute everywhere and am often on it for around 60 minutes (or more!) a day. I also try to run at least four times a week for about 45 minutes. My legs have become strong and can handle all the exercise, however I take a rest day whenever I feel like I need to. If I were you, I would…
  • I havent had oreas in forever! I LOVE them in the morning with a nice cuppa coffee. mm I end up eating a whole sleeve in one sitting haha

  • Oh my gosh, you look so wonderful! I tried the 30day shred a couple of times but never lasted more than a week and dreaded it. maybe I should give it another shot! hehe
  • I was talking to a body builder who told me that coffee can affect your strength in your weight room. So although it is giving you that boost of energy, your gains might not be as strong. He gave me some scientific stuff to back of the claim, but I've never actually looked into it myself. Might be interesting to read…
  • I tired using all sorts of DIY stuff on my hair such as baking soda and apple cider vinegar.. it always left my hair feeling disgusting. I do however only wash my hair about twice a week and that works for me. :) also olive oil is a great hair treatment!!
  • ugh.. give me your outfit please. And your fashion sense for that matter!
  • Bumping because I'm going camping next weekend and need ideas. I usually bring nuts, oatmeal, protein bars, fruits, seeds, and salads in jars!

  • hmmm well this is a tricky situation that will only be resolved by speaking to him. My sisters boyfriend is 26 and I'm 18. We get along very well with each other and often hang out and text. I see him as the brother I never had, and he sees me as his sister! So perhaps their relationship is like mine, where they see one…
  • oh my god. bumping for later
  • It sounds like she has an eating disorder or is dealing with her own issues. I used to be the same way around my best friend. Although I was in a healthy weight range, I couldn't help but put myself down constantly. I often ended up in tears just from looking at my body or thinking about it around her. I really could not…
  • I hate underwear! I try to avoid it on a regular day to day basis as well. If I'm wearing shorts/leggings/spandex or anything other than jeans I wont wear it. It's honestly soooo much comfier. While working out, I like to wear shorts with built in lining so it keeps it all in place though. I also don't like wearing bras…
  • You are eating way too little hun! 200 calories should be a snack, not a full day. You are just hurting your body and your mind by eating too little. Especially the fact that you stopped them cold turkey... that is some heavy medication and your body is going through some serious changes and withdraws. You need to nurture…
  • Coffee, Protein powder, Cinnamon, and Almond Milk all mixed together in a blender! UGH it's so so so good,it literally tastes like a delicious late (but low cal. and packed with protein!!!!)
  • I have been hooping for about 2 years now and absolutely love it! For all you getting discouraged, don't worry because once you start noticing your improvements it becomes so incredibly rewarding. and not to mention fun! When I first started, I would spend an hour a day hooping on my waist infront of the tv. I couldn't…
  • Something small that I can mindlessly eat in huge quantities! Mostly popcorn, grapes, or a huge veggie platter. I also find hot liquids soothing. I love a big cup of coffee, tea, hot chocolate, or soup. yum!
  • Luckily for me I've always loved black coffee! However when I'm craving something different, I'll mix almond milk and cinamon in with it. Or I'll blend up some coffee and protein powder, and it makes an incredibly tasty late!

  • I lift 2-3 times a week and do cardio (running, cycling, swimming, dancing) 6-7 times a week. I only take rests days when I feel like my body needs it, but even then try to do some light swimming or yoga!
  • Thanks for the recommendations! I was thinking some mason jar salads, beet/lentil/bean burgers and raw brownies. But now I'm tempted to make some quiche! hmm I get so overwhelmed when I make food for people, because I just want to make them all of my favourite things. But there is never enough time or space for that.…
  • mmmm bump!! I'm going to make this for lunch tomorrow!!! and eat both servings ;D
