"Running has never failed to give me great end results, and that's why I keep coming back for more!--S.A."

daaaaang....that makes me hungry again!!! :)

A long run!! However, with my luck, it would be one of those days where getting past the first 10 mins is harsh!! haha!

Layering is KEY!! And probably mutiple pairs of running shoes for those 'wet' days... For me, a decent pair of gloves on my hands--idk what it is, but if my fingers are freezing, I can't seem to focus on anything else during my run! Ugh!!

I just recently finished 30DS and have been using it here and there for quick effective workouts. It seriously only takes 20 mins so if you could manage to get up 20 mins ealier to get it in before you start your day you're golden! However, I honestly don't think it will have much effect if you rested on Sundays but keep…

awesome! :)

squats and hip lifts! Those seem to work best for me! :)

I think that if you're comfortable running then DO IT!!! :) Just make sure you have great shoes and the terrain you're running in softens the impact so you don't put too much stress on your joints and legs. Run for as long as you can, then walk some, run some and so forth. Soon enough you'll be running for miles! :) Good…

This topic made me laugh out loud because my most "memorable raceS" were when I was high school. 1--My very first cross country race EVER was on JV...The course was poorly marked so I thought I was lost. Walked for 2-3 mins then found out I was on the right path...only to see the finish line 200 yards ahead! I booked…

American muscle cars or Cowboy trucks--owning both would be a plus!

My heart breaks for their families and friends. :(

I heard Newton's were better...I haven't tried them though! How do you like them?
-
It only took me 2 weeks to get used to mine (but I occasionally barefoot run!) They will make you run the correct way because you end up using the muscles you don't work as hard when you're running with regular padded running shoes. I wouldn't go as far as saying they're for people who already run the correct way--they're…

Ooooh! I'd like to know too--I'm thinking about starting bodyrock in a month or so and that ball is crazy expensive! Thank goodness I've got sand weights already!!

Looks like I'll be making a dermatologist appt... :ohwell:

Thanks for the suggestions! :)

I break out everywhere!! I have sensitive skin, face cleaners can leave me super dry and moisturizers leave me EXTRA oily--doesn't matter what kind, water based and all!! I guess I can try cutting dairy out of my diet to see if that could be the problem, but it never has been before...I usually drink 8oz of milk…

I eat crazy amounts of fruits and veggies! I'm always high in sugar because of the amts of fruit I eat! And I eat almost 8-10 different kinds of veggies through the entire week! I've been at this healthier lifestyle for quite some time--this problems has just recently submerged!

looks amazing! :)

This! She's right--it's not just about your legs...you've got to use your arms and lean your torso forward....NOT crazy forward like you're about to fall forward and not so much that your legs are trying to catch up to the rest of your body...just so there's less resistance when you're actually moving forward. You'll get…

always good info :D

Not a whole lot you can do! But that means you were working your *kitten* off! :) So great job!! :) For me, the initial "hurting-soreness" goes away in 2-3 days...but then it's the "feel good soreness" that will come after you recover and continue to workout hard. :) I think most people strive for that kind of soreness…

I agree...I think the bean sprouts would get soggy after you try using them again...
-
How many days are you cutting it short by exactly? Then I would go ahead and start L2 tomorrow and cut the short...then start L3...If you think you can manage to do doubles until your vacay...then that's an option. OR you can just do what it suggests, cut L3...then start it up back up when you get back...refresh at L2...…

It was almost impossible for me to lose while breastfeeding. When I finally decided that I was going to lose the remainder baby weight (5months after baby), my milk slowly stopped coming in. :( It's a choice you're going to have to make... Good luck! :) And congrats on your new baby!! :)

I just started L3 and love that it's a quick 20 minutes!

ONLY ONE?! Holy cow...ok...it would have to be a toss up between pizza, sushi and pad thai! (It's dinner time and this post is making me make a bad decision for dinner...) argh! :grumble:

I enjoyed 1984! I'm currently reading Water, Stone, Heart--I loved Will North's first novel, "The Long Walk Home" :)
