  • I don't have a recipe source for this cause it is super simple and eyeball it most of the time. The recipe I have in my builder is as follows: 20g butter, 20g flour, about 30g of grated Parmesan, and about 375ml of skim milk, dash of nutmeg. I also add salt, pepper, and garlic powder to mine. Basically melt the butter, and…
  • I don't have one but I've seen a few recipes on a site I love. Check out: http://www.skinnytaste.com/2014/04/zucchini-noodles-zoodles-with-lemon.html http://www.skinnytaste.com/2014/04/carrot-rice-leek-risotto-with-bacon.html

  • Hi Check out www.skinnytaste.com. She has great recipes and uses a lot of vegetables. Everything I've tried on her site has been super good and easy to tweak to fit my pantry and tastes. I can't even tell you how often I've pimped out her site but it really has a lot of good stuff. Plus if you follow her recipe as is, she…
  • One of my favorite things to add to oatmeal is peanut butter (and a few dark choc chips). Greatest winter breakfast and super delicious. I'm not a fan of protein powders/bars, the ones I've used make me bloat for some reason. And tasted absolutely horrible when added to oats that I had to toss it out. As far as smoothies,…
  • You can freeze your water bottle over night, and use that to keep everything cool until lunch time.
  • Or even post it on the recipe forum. I think more people will see it there :)
  • Don't know if this was mentioned but I only use onion flakes in liquid dishes since they need to rehydrate. That's gonna suck some moisture up. Also I'd cover it to cook so it can steam a little and keep its moisture.
  • Wow @ 2 cups of sugar. Not sure which apples you used, but I usually don't add any sugar when I make it since I use sweeter apples like pink lady, or the like. I also throw in some lemon juice for a bit of tartness or a couple of granny smith apples, and a dash of cinnamon. Usually that's all it needs. Hope it is fixable!
  • Hi, In general, to lose 1lb a week, you need to burn 3500 calories total, so 500 cals a day. But depending on what settings you selected for your goals here on MFP (0.5lb, 1lb, 1.5lb, etc per week loss), you will already be on a deficit. So if you chose to lose 1lb a week, MFP will have already subtracted 500 calories from…
  • I'm not sure but maybe you can try updating your info here http://www.myfitnesspal.com/weight-loss-ticker/update_weight
  • I've done the old WW and was pretty successful with it (lost about 50-60lbs and quit when I got stuck on a plateau for a month or so). I tried the new WW and did not have any success with it. I've never done Atkins. I would stick to MFP and invest in a Fitbit, and save the rest of the money you'd be spending on WW for a…
  • Is there anyway your setting could have changed? From lightly active to sedentary or something along those lines?
  • Hi, Here's some info about linking Fitbit to MFP http://www.myfitnesspal.com/help/faq/295-how-do-i-link-my-fitbit-account-with-my-myfitnesspal-account I only have those two linked but on the Fitbit site, they recommend a bunch of apps that you can link to your account http://www.fitbit.com/apps I'm not sure how it would…
  • Pink Lady, Fiji, & Sundowner are all pretty delicious
  • Well I'd say they are bigger than "regular" 14/16 (from non-plus size stores), but they seem to be smaller than other plus size stores (Avenue, Old Navy, etc). At least this is what I've noticed.
  • WHAT?!? That's some crazy transformation! You look awesome :D
  • I bet that feels amazing! Congrats, you look beautiful :)
  • Wow that's an amazing transformation! You look really great. Congrats on getting it done :)
  • Love all things peanut butter. Jelly & PB, nutella & PB, Oreos dipped in PB, tim tams dipped in PB, granny smith apples & pb, fluff & PB, Honey & PB, Bananas & PB. Everything in PB!
  • Yup came here to say Skinnytaste as well, that is if you are ok with agave.
  • I didn't go through all the replies so this may have been posted already but these are my favs other than cream cheese: -Tomato sauce and Mozzarella toasted (pizza bagel) -Deli Meat (Ham, Turkey, etc), Slice of cheese, and Avocado
  • Do you work in an office setting? I've never tried this but I've heard of some people using them at work. Pretty inexpensive. Might be a good way to get that additional half hour at work in the mornings :D Only $20 on amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Isokinetics-Inc-Brand-Pedal-Exerciser/dp/B000KDWA82 ETA...sorry the image is…
  • So I was able to exchange my broken Flex for the One as I hoped. So much better! Love that I get all my info on the screen, where as all I got with the Flex were dots that lit up when you hit your step goal. Way better product!
  • That's an amazing transformation. You have some great legs lady :D
  • Is your bike and elliptical in front of the tv? I find it is super easy for me to hop on my bike or treadmill during one of my shows or while I'm watching a movie. As long as they're running, I keep moving. And it helps that I'm not focused on the time and how many more minutes I have left.
  • I got the Flex less than 3 weeks ago. I liked that I would have it on all the time and wouldn't lose it or forget it. I do my walks/runs on a treadmill and because I hold onto the handle bars the reading wasn't accurate. So now I either toss it into my bra or pocket and I've been getting readings that match my treadmill.…
  • I haven't tried this yet but I have it pinned for the future. No bake pumpkin cheese cake? Yes please! The recipe can be found here: http://www.diabeticlivingonline.com/recipe/cheesecake/no-bake-pumpkin-swirl-cheesecake/ Also, if there are a lot of recipes for pumpkin pie oatmeal (YUM!). The recipe can be found here:…
  • Personally I can't cut out all the so called bad food. When I label something as a BAD, then I just want it more. That's when I end up binging and beating myself over it. So right now I eat everything and anything as long as it fits into my cals. The only thing I don't have are donuts, and that's because I lack all control…
  • Both Fitbit and MFP have options to set you up to a 500 cal deficit. But once they are set up to that, Fitbit should be transferring those extra cals you've earned to your MFP food diary so you should see an increase of your cals for the day of what you can eat. Eat them up :)
