  • I do have at least a day or twos rest between each hike. Id love to go everyday, but i dont have that kind of time to commit. Thanks for the tips everyone! Im going to use them all. Chances are it will probably just take time to get used to the rugged terrain and steep angles.
  • Who let Daniel Bryant in here?
  • Im in! I hike alot. Not everyday, but several times a week. Also my YMCA routine consists of walking to warm up.
  • Well also when you are climbing up steep mountain trails and going down them, you tend to use the calves ALOT. I know alot of it is strain because I am far from a light person. People my weight dont normally do what I do. But Ive never let my weight get in the way of what I wanted to see and do. Even if I pay with leg…
  • There is this cafe at the mall where I live that serves salted caramel gelato... OMG! It is an amazing flavor. I run the mall to burn them calories before I consume just one scoop of it. :)
  • I already have. I might have to nip some of my meals down to accommodate the calories but I do it. I also exercise like a fiend these days so I can burn them off. So I allow myself a lil once a day. Just to keep my sanity. lol.
  • I would like to: 1) Climb every mountain to the top around here. 2) Log over 5000 minutes of exercise over the month. 3) Start cleaning up my diet, eating more chicken, veggies and natural vegetation blends ( like juicing only healtheir)
  • I went thru similar stuff as a kid and came out clean on the other side. BUT I had to remove my mom from my life to heal. That was it. I could not afford to have someone so disrespectful in my life determining my self worth. I am far from skinny and fit yet, but I can climb mountains! I can accomplish more than I ever…
  • Now the opposite is true for me. I can SEE Ive been shrinking, but the number on the scale stays the same. Makes me MAD as a hornet! But I can see other differences. I can do more and get away with it. Im WAY more active. I feel much better!
  • Steak with ALL the trimmings.... lol... mmmmm....
  • For me its this older woman that comes in and sits in a chair and watches ME workout.... Thats all she does. She doesnt get on anything or USE anything... she sits in one of those hard orange chairs and watches only ME. Its weird is what it is. :grumble: :noway:
  • Missoula MT.... Rubys Cafe..... Any of the bacon burgers. I get the double bacon burger and it is so huge it ends up being 2 meals easy. GREAT that day, even better the next!
  • WAY TO GO! And THANK YOU SO MUCH for your service to our country! :flowerforyou:
  • Fruit pastels for those that are interested. http://www.foodily.com/r/YhK4saxGw-hedgerow-fruit-pastels
  • I eat right away because I exercise so much and for so long that I am ravenous when I get done. I even eat a small protein snack, like Chobani or cheese or something before I go. Then when I come back I will have some more food. It works for me. Id say it goes by the individual. Listen to your body and eat when you are…
  • I think there are smart ways to go about doing things like this. IF you are talking about just juicing and it being long term then no, its not healthy. However, I do believe that any time you get more fruits and veggies in your diet its a good thing. And if juicing will do that for you then do it. I myself am going to be…
  • As for me, the only person I laugh at in the gym is ME. lol. Like earlier when I was doing aquafit and about fell over backwards off my noodle doing jumping jacks in the water.... It was quite hilarious. lol....
  • I think this is awesome too. Just think, if you had not intervened she might have not come back at all. Because of your gesture of kindness I am sure it eased her embarrassment and allowed her to feel good about coming back.
  • I did! Those shows were awesome. Now all Nick has is Spongebob and Big Time Rush.
  • Im not drinking. Green beer holds no interest for me. Once in a blue moon I will have a little something but not too often.
  • I have just topsy turvied my day is all. I have lunch first, breakfast second and snacks then dinner. It doesnt really matter what the order is. As long as you are tracking what you eat, the category is irrelevant.
  • Oh, I drink TONS of water. Its my #1 beverage of choice. Especially at work because I get dehydrated so easily with it being winter and they keep the nursing home 80-90 degrees to keep them warm. Has anyone heard of the supplement Move Free? I was talking to a resident that takes it and I was wondering if anyone else can…
  • Just the occasional sugar free drink. I usually go for the full sugar ones just alot less of them than before, but sometimes a flavor that appeals to me is only in sugar free. Like Faygo Coconut Cream Pie flavored soda. Just wanted to try it.
  • I was actually just thinking that swimming would be a good form of exercise for now because it would keep the weight off my feet. Id have to check into gym memberships for that and go in the am after I take my lil one to school.
  • Besides its hard work taking care of someone else. VERY physical. I know people that are smaller than me that have alot of pain too. Theirs is mostly in their back though.
  • Um.... I am losing weight.... Thats why Im here....
  • You should watch Lorenzos Oil...... Based on a true story... I think you might be enlightened...
  • I am! I can multitask!
  • Now that all depends.... I had 2 donuts yesterday that was well within my calorie goal and I was up 3 lbs this morning.... Of course its water weight from the sugar and carbs but still.... Thats more I have to work off. However, I do usually allow myself a soda or two a day and it doesnt effect me....
