I love the book idea and all the rest. Some of the things I use are to keep me motivated. A new exercise video, a set of hand weights, a heart rate monitor. Have fun and good luck =)

Day 5 of 30DS and I am noticing a difference in my endurance. I like that it is a quick video. Also swam for almost an hour. Now I am cool enough to go to bed. Great week everyone!

Today was day 4 for me. I had to increase my weights from 3 to 5ibs and now I feel a burn ;) Push ups are the worst for me too. I did not think I could even do a jumping jack but I did them. I use a heart rate monitor and noticed today I did not burn as many calories as the first 3 days. Not sure if my body got use to it…

Day 3 of 30DS I upped my weights to 5lbs and finally felt a burn. I am not sore yet, will see tomorrow. I may need to go buy some 8lb ones =) Had my walk with friends, picked raspberries for about and hour and then went for an hour swim. It feels wonderful to cool down that way and it makes me tired and ready for bed.…

Day 2 of the30DS I was not sore at all! I am so surprised. I am going to bump the weights up from 3lbs to 5lbs, they seem too light on every thing except latteral raises. Went for a walk this morning and went for a nice long swim this afternoon, to cool down. Everyone looks to be off to a great start this week. Keep it up…

Day 1 of 30DS was not as bad as I thought it was going to be. I actually did jumping jacks. I did not think I had it in me. Push ups were the hardest part for me. MissDee there are jumping jacks, jumping rope, squats and lunges. Not a good workout if you have knee problems!

Finally made it kayaking:happy: I am so excited. I hope I can move tomorrow:blushing: My daughter and I did a little over an hour and my shoulders and arms are feeling it. It was so nice to get out there and do it! Everyone is working really hard this week, WTG!

Thank you Oma! I went on vacation for a week and then it became 2, then 3, then my Mom had a stroke and I had to go to her in Florida so that makes four. I ended up gaining back 6lbs. I have now lost 3 of that. I am so happy to be back at it. Sure goes on lots quicker than it comes off ;)

I am in again. Same as last week since I did not make my goal. I have the worst cold ever and I just slept most of the weekend in a dayquil/nyquil daze =( Still very stuffy but maybe I can sweat the rest of this out of me ;) So trying for 450min of exercise again. Good luck everyone!

I am right there with you MissDee! I have not been exercising as much as I need to. I had to readjust my tracker =( Busy time of year with vacations, graduations and all the cookouts. I have the original Turbo Jam. It is great and lots of fun with many different videos to mix it up so I don't get bored. I just got 2 of the newer Turbo Jam videos that go with the stability ball. I have not tried the greek yogurt yet. I love stoneyfield farms fat free french vanilla. Before I leave for work I add some frozen blueberries top with 2TBSP ground golden flax seed and add 1TBSP pure maple syrup. I let it set in the fridge at work until 9 and then mix it all up. I am going to try for 450min of exercise this week still but I leave Wed. morning to go visit my brother in NC for a week. I have no idea what I will be doing but I will walk and maybe some swimming. Haddock is a very mild fish and the only one my kids would ever eat. They had grouper when they went to Florida and that was close in taste and not fishy. Also striper is very good and mild. There is a recipe on allrecipes for broiled parmesan tilapia that is excellant and you can use with any of these fish.
