  • I don't have much weight to lose, just looking to tone up, but in the last 60 days I have lost roughly 10 lbs doing a combination of 30DS and some extra cardio (elliptical, stationary bike, and the Couch to 5k program), while counting calories and trying to eat healthier. I have also lost 1 inch in my waist, 1" inch on my…
  • This DVD by no means has to be a 30 days straight program. Supposedly if you do 30 straight days, you can lose up to 20 lbs., but of course that is no guarantee. A lot of people on here do each level for 10 days before advancing to the next level. However, I stayed on level 1 for about 3 weeks. To me, it just seemed silly…
  • I just did W2 D1 yesterday and was really surprised how easy it was for me! I have NEVER liked to run, and I really struggled with my breathing and with aches and pains in my legs and knees during Week 1, but yesterday, I really actually enjoyed the running intervals. I found a nice rhythm and didn't struggle with my…
  • OMG! This happens to me too! I don't even give myself a whole "day", usually just one meal, and I work out hard beforehand too, and still gain, like 3 or 4 lbs from it. I realize that it is probably water retention from high sodium, etc., but the problem is, it takes me all week (and sometimes more) to lose it again! Ugh!…
  • I also just started Couch to 5k, so I will probably not do BFBM on the days I have to run. I am also contemplating buying Jillian's No More Trouble Zones as well to add to the mix because I have heard that BFBM is mostly cardio whereas NMTZ adds more strength training to the mix?
  • You go girl! I would LOVE to buy new girls but have way too many other things to pay off. :frown: I am almost completely flat-chested and I HATE IT! I am also worried about what other people (mainly my parents) would think of it. Maybe someday.....
  • Food in general is a weakness for me! If it is in the house, I wanna eat it! So I just don't buy any junk food anymore, so it is no longer here to tempt me. But if I had to pick just one thing, I would definitely say PIZZA! I think I could eat it every day!!!! And my most recent problem is, all this Easter candy my…
  • As long as your doctor has approved you to exercise, I say Go for it! Just listen to your body. That may mean that you walk more than the program intends you to, and you may repeat weeks numerous times. But it is the getting up and Moving part that is important, not how long it take you to complete the program. My husband…
  • I weight myself every morning when I wake up, just because it would drive me nuts if I didn't! But the only weigh-in that I really count is on Saturday mornings (after a whole week of working out and eating right, that is where I expect to see my results!) I also take measurements weekly, though I don't really see results…
  • I will join this club too! I have tried several different times to "like" yoga, but it just isn't for me! I think it is sooooo boring! I do LOVE the way I feel after a great workout, but for me, that means cardio, 30 Day Shred, Couch to 5k, etc. It definitely is a very personal preference!
  • I hate my thunder thighs! But I have managed to lose 1 inch and just started the Couch to 5k program in hopes of toning up my legs and maybe losing some more inches. The worst part is, I have to buy pants to fit around my thighs, and then they end up being HUGE around the waist. I would love to have pants that fit me…
  • Yum! I love oreos- can't wait to try this!
  • Yes, you will be feeling the pain in the beginning, but you have to STICK WITH IT! For the first few days, I nearly cried everytime I tried to sit on/get off of the toilet because my legs hurt soooo bad! But I stuck with it, and now I am doing Level 3 and loving it! If you absolutely must, take one day off to let…
  • I work from home as a bookkeeper as well as babysit my niece and nephew plus my own 2 kids. It has been easier for me to lose weight or at least keep a few lbs. off by NOT letting myself eat the food that I cook for the kids (mac & cheese, bagel pizzas, chicken nuggets or patties, etc.). Now I have a salad or a low-sodium…
  • okay all you "bump-ers" (lol!) have any of you tried this yet? Is is good???
  • We compare labels on EVERYTHING. We thought we were doing great by eating healthy snacks like string cheese and cottage cheese, but they were LOADED with sodium. We now buy the lowest sodium options we can find for cottage cheese. We buy low sodium string cheese, low sodium deli meats, no salt added canned veggies…
  • Ok, I'm in! This is just the commitment I need. lol I am currently doing level 3 of 30DS, so by May 1, I should be ready for the new challenge.
  • I think level 2 is a lot harder than level1, especially the strength moves. I can't do all the reps, but do as many as I can, take a 1-2 rep break, and then do as many as I can again until the move is over. You also spend a lot of time in the plank position- cardio in a plank position, abs in a plank position.... Yuck! But…
  • I am the same way- HAVE to have my hazelnut creamer! lol I use the Sugar Free because while the fat content is a little bit higher, it is fewer calories overall. I don't know if that is the same for every brand / flavor or not, but after comparing labels, that is what I chose for me!
  • Do all of you take yoga classes or do yoga DVDs? What DVDs do you recommend? I really want to start working on my flexibility but have never done yoga and don't know where to start. Classes aren't really an option for me right now because of an already hectic schedule, but I think a yoga DVD after the kids go to bed might…
  • Definitely trying this! Thanks!
  • I did Day 2, Level 2 today, and I agree- its rough! A friend of mine said she thinks Level 3 is actually easier than Level 2. We shall see!
