I'm a vegetarian and try to aim for high protein as well. I'm 5'6, used to be 122 at my lowest November 2011 and now I'm back at 130.5 which sucks but I'm human, it happens. So basically what you're saying is sugar is only used for energy, so because it can easily become energy in excess, it can easily be turned into fat. While proteins and fats are used for other functions, so it doesn't become excess energy as easily, therefore the body won't allocate them to fat stores to save for later.…

But don't macros determine your body composition? Like if person A ate a ton of carbs and not enough protein, and person B ate a ton of protein and kept their diet low carb but they both had the same net calories, wouldn't person B would look a lot better?

since college, yes. in high school i was constantly surrounded by friends. college is a different story. i go to class, listen to the lecture, and leave. maybe make some small talk with people around me but not enough to the point where we're planning to hang out outside of class. sigh.

I eat at the dining center and keep no food in my on-campus suite. That way if I'm craving when I'm already over my caloric limit, I don't have any food to turn to. Muahahahaha

No but I think that what is listed is the seaweed by itself and not seaweed salad sushi. So it would just be like this: http://www.orthogonalthought.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/dsc_1412_550.jpg otherwise wouldn't seaweed be listed under "roll"? Sorry don't mean to stir up any debates haha
