Fruit and crackers are my typical cottage cheese sides. I say go for the 4% milkfat variety ... it is so much more rewarding and not that much higher in fat/calories.

Did you know that a lot of your bottled water is really just tap water that has gone through filtration systems? Unless you are drinking spring water, you are drinking tap water. Just a thought for you to ponder.

Use dark chocolate instead of milk chocolate ... that is healthier right? =)
-
Eat the real bacon. I saw a show on the history channel about how they make turkey bacon ... it was probably one of the more disgusting things that I have ever seen!!!
-
But it is better sugar for you than white processed sugar!!

If you are looking for how many fat calories is 25% of 1200 for example. Then it is a simple 1200 x .25 = 300. Convert your percent to a decimal ... number divided by 100 ... and then multiply. Really simple middle school math. =)

You should never have to "break in" shoes. Different socks could help. You could also try moleskin.

I have switched to Sam Adams Light ... try it ... it is awesome!

Just something simple. Yesterday was yesterday. Put it behind you. Today is a new day.

Use light chocolate soy milk and take out the banana and you have something that tastes like a peanut butter cup!

Give them away!! It is a tax deduction ... and there may be people out there that actually need them. Plus, why hold onto bad memories???
-
Another thing to consider is that the real thing is going to be non-processed ... which is an excellent thing.

If it is your shoes ... go to a shoe store that specializes in running shoes. I am not talking big box store (i.e., ****s, etc). Find a local running store. Those people know shoes and feet! You may pay a little more ... but your feet and body will thank you.

I have actually made this one ... but the recipie is slightly different in the book (fat free cream cheese and egg substitute in mine). I liked it cold rather than hot.
-
Try eBay ... they might be on there and at a significantly reduced price.

If you are fortunate enough to have a Whole Foods near by ... you can grind your own nut butters! I love cashew butter. Growing up my mom made our own ... yum, yum.
-
BTW ... they are at Meijer ... at least at mine here in C-bus.

The Skinny Dippers are dipped in chocolate and are oh so yummy. They come in vanilla, caramel and mint. One box has caramel and vanilla, the other has vanilla and mint. Only 80 calories a pop and they actually are really good! Look for them in the novelties area of the frozen section (where you would find fudgesicles,…

Try the Skinny Dippers! I was first exposed to Skinny Cow at Race for the Cure this year. They were giving them away for free. Sneaky, sneaky.

I read something interesting this weekend. It actually said to eat regular bacon instead of turkey bacon! In the brands that they compared ... the regular bacon had less sodium, but the same calories as turkey bacon. My conclusion (which is the same as the whipped cream/cool whip debate) ... eat the real stuff!

Say a big no to iceburg ... absolutely no benefits. Spinach and romaine are typically my choices when it comes to lettuce.

Vanilla vodka and diet cherry vanilla Dr Pepper. Yum!

You have an awesome opportunity to attend all of this activities!! Take advantage of it! Personnally, I would enjoy the experience and jump back on the wagon once all of the chaos has left.

I am a firm believer in getting rid of things that you no longer need or use. I really like the idea of donating your clothes to the woman's shelter that cassangelidy stated. Help others and clear out some space in your home. Besides, what if something happens to them heaven forbid (i.e., moths, moisture damage) .... now…

My dr recommended a multi vitamin and then a calcium supplement. I travel a lot (for work) so I usually don't eat all of those calcium-rich foods that I should.

Look in the organic section of your grocery store. It may be in the bulk food area as well. You get the most benefit out of flaxseed if it is ground, not whole.

I am ditching the family and the whole Thanksgiving chaos and heading to St John's with two of my good friends! Being the only single one is not much fun on this day ... plus it is at my sister's house and her husband and in-laws are the picture perfect definition of "bumps on a log". I am thinking tropical drinks…

I do. It is insignificant, but if you chew a lot of gum it could add up.

I have the F6. Love it. It has a chest strap, but I don't notice that I have it on anymore. It saves your data for an extended period of time (14 days) so you can review your weekly time, calories burned, time in heart rate zones, etc. It has the ability to only pick up your chest strap, which is great if you are working…
