Because of the easy availability of porn for youth to obtain, girls are reporting more aggressive and painful first time or repeated experiences than previous generations because boys don't view pornography as sensationalized and unrealistic like the fantasy it was created to be. Not unlike romance novels and movies that…

Yes except I wear socks. My scale is glass and it gets really cold. :(

Three weeks is not long enough to see significant change. 1lb per week is the recommended weight loss rate. 2lb is very aggressive and is usually unhealthy and difficult to maintain. Keep at it! :)

Never were truer words spoken by a pie.

Stick with StrongLifts and get enough protein, and give yourself some time. You'll get there.

It's extraordinary just how many people don't want their privates discussed at dinner.
-
Here is your script for the next time this happens: "My weight is not up for discussion. May we please talk about interesting things, now?" If they persist, here is what you say: "I've made it clear that I do not wish to discuss my weight. If we can't think of anything else to talk about, I'll have to leave because this…

I use this website a lot. Browse around, she has great nutrition info and weight loss help. www.hypothyroidmom.com

My doctor gave me mefenamic acid capsules to take three times a day starting the day before your period, for a few days. It helped but I usually had an extra day of cramping the day after I went off them and it made me nauseous. Maybe they could help you, though.

My advice would be to increase fats and protein goals and lower carbs. Limit extra bread, pasta, etc. Keeps you feeling fuller longer, is easier to keep to your calorie limit and is a healthier diet overall. It takes some planning but it's worth it.

I think you need variety in your diet. Add protein (meat, dairy, eggs or other sources if vegan), fats (olive oil, coconut oil, avocados) and veggies, and fewer grains. Try aiming for 1400-1600 and alternate your workouts. Aim for progression. (Increase intensity, decrease time, etc.) Your body will not sustain your weight…

Rubber bands. I hate them. I. Just. Hate. Them.

Oatmeal is filling. Mix in a tablespoon of peanut butter and some honey. Yum!

Wonderful! My calorie goal, starting weight and weights program are similar to yours. May I ask how tall you are?

This might be the most helpful thing I've seen on these forums. *standing ovation* For real!

Someone on here wrote something to the effect of "you may as well keep trying because the time will pass, anyway." This really resonated with me because I have these age milestones where I thought I'd hit my goal weight by 30. Then I had some health issues spring up and I'm now 33, going "goal weight by 35!" I will keep…

The number on the scale does not account for muscle, bone density, water weight, etc. If you feel your belly is too much, you need to continue with fat loss and perhaps gain some muscle. You can do both with weight lifting while eating at maintenance or under for more fat loss. Keep your protein at about 100 grams per day…

Your bank account will lose weight.

I'm not much of a breakfast eater, it makes me feel ill to eat too soon in the day. I end up eating half my calories for the day at dinner and evening snacks. As long as it's accounted for and you remain in a deficit, the timing doesn't matter. Eat when you are normally hungry, and don't make it harder than it has to be. :)

Not exactly trolling, just experimenting. Someone commented that if you said the same things about broccoli that the OP of the closed topic said about gluten, no one would care, because everyone is addicted to toxic gluten and get angry about being told not to eat it. So I decided to test that theory. I got a lot of very…

People are asking about a true allergy because allergies and sensitivities are two separate issues. You likely have a gluten sensitivity, however an allergy involves a response from the immune system and can be immediately life threatening. Here's a link to help understand it better:…

If you don't want him to touch you, you have to remove the pleasure of doing so, and add a consequence for disobeying. Punching him in the face would actually be entirely appropriate here, as an act of self defense.
-
You have asked him not to touch you in a way rhat has no relevance to form or training and he continues to do it. Forget your husband, it's disrespectful to YOU. It doesn't matter if another man got there first, he has no business treating you that way without your enthusiastic consent. If you need a script on how to…

It all depends whether or not you've already accounted for it in your activity level. If you haven't selected activity level to include chores, then count calories burned but keep in mind mfp estimates higher so a heart rate monitor would be a good buy, and only eat back two thirds of your calories. If you're not planning…

if she brings up your smaller portions: "Im happy with what i ate, my food choices are not up for discussion. Thank you for dinner." There is no argument if one side refuses to engage. Since you know the issue ahead of time, make sure you have a few hundred extra calories saved up, or invite them over for a meal. It's nice…

Many people have experienced a temporary weight gain from eating a lot of salty foods over a day or two, however it is only water retention or "bloat", which isn't a real gain and can be remedied by eating simpler foods and drinking a lot of water. This is where we must differentiate between weight loss/gain and fat…

Also as a nanny you didn't push a baby out of your body and need to recover from that, as well as the giant hormone changes, or have to get up for multiple feedings at night. I've been a nanny and now a mom and they really are very different.

This. and if you truly are below your limit by a few hundred calories, then eat healthy fats and proteins like nuts, a high protein yogurt or cottage cheese. Or have a treat. :) Don't deprive yourself too much or it'll be harder to stick to it.

No idea. :-/ I want the largest whiskey you've ever poured in your life and also where is your phone?

If you only need to be beautiful for someone to want a relationship with you, you should decline the offer. They could be just as fulfilled with the cover of a Cosmo magazine and you can avoid wasting your time.
