Just as a side note, though I agree people should *try* and use the correct spelling and grammar on a public forum, I have to agree that you need to "give people a break". I'm severely dyslexic so have real trouble spelling, especially words with double letters. It's not lazyness of trying to learn to spell (or read…

Is everything okay guys? All seems a bit quiet on the survivor front, I hope all is well.

If the word Londoner is used to describe the people that live there, I'd imagine it was the great city of London, England. "Maybe it's because I'm a Londoner, that I love London so!!" *tralala*

There must be a formula to work out percentages etc in excel, If I had time at work I'd have a fiddle with some for you, as there should be a way to do the calculations automatically when you put the two weights in (not sure how you're doing the challenge scoring system). If you're doing it with calculators I'm hella…

What are you on about ACowboyKid? Your writing is awesome, it makes a great read! I think you should compile it all in a blog or something once you're done so you don't lose all your hard work and storyline in the Bermuda Triangle that is the forums! I'm loving the graphics too, I'm very impressed with the excel formula…

Firstly, 3 weeks is really too short a time to jusdge your progress, and I wouldn't expect your clothes to feel looser yet! I've lost 17lbs and I'm still not down a clothes size properly. Secondly, I notice you're saying "1200Cals OR LESS". it should never be less than 1200 cals, which may be where you are going wrong.…

My inlaws have one, and it cooks chips (fries) really well with only a tiny amount of oil. Also does meat and stuff apearenty, but I've never had anything else cooked using it.

a bit of a 'butters' in my opinion ;oP Nice body, but his face and his lack of hair does nothing for me!

Bah, my computer keeps crashing out and double posting things! It's lost all my daily tracking, and I can't be bothered to work it all out again from my exercise diary *Grumblegrumble* I chose option A, Did all reps on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. I walked a total of 27.45 miles My weapon of choice was a frying pan :oP…

[Double post - damn laptop!]

You look so good! keep it up!

Can we build up the miles like last week? No way I'm going to have time to walk for over an hour every day :/ Sorry to be so easily confused, but do you mean 30 in total (10 rows, 10 punch, 10 wood chops) or 30 of each? ... Also, what's a wood chop? Haha! Your writing is fab, I'm really enjoying this. Thank you so much for…

Double post. Oops.

I wish I could suggest something that would make it better, but I can say that you're not alone. I'm 25 and have lived with "gout related" arthritis, endometriosis, IBS and various other things that leave me in constant pain and unable to walk more than a few paces some days for nearly 10 years. I've been told it's likely…

4lbs is quite a lot to lose at your weight, but how long have you been on your new routine for? If it's quite new for you it could be water weight. If you're not going under about 1300 I wouldn't worry, just keep an eye out to make sure you are getting the right nutrients (including *some* fats, carbs, etc, as your body…

Day 4: 572 Day 5: 81 Day 6: 193 No stairs or steps at home, so made use of the ones in the cinema and shops this weekend, so not as many as the days when I can charge up the fire escape at work without people staring and watching me sweat! Total: 2036 Not bad for an arthritic old bat  As I'm in the UK what time/date…

Day 3: 160 (better than nothing!) Total: 1190 Must must must climb all 23 flights today, as no stairs at the weekend!
-
Day 1: 372 Day 2: 658 Need to get my totals up at work as don't have access to private stairs at home (not using the ones fr our block, I'd look like a loon!) Need to find me a weapon better than a frying pan... I'm on the look out for something that looks like it has brain smooshing potential ;)
-
Mine will probably be a frying pan, as that's the only whacky thing we have round here... Pants, I'd better get myself more prepared!
-
Fab graphics, thanks!

Probably TMI back at you, but it sounds like your 'burp with food in it' is a warning sign. If you don't go to the toilet for a long time, the waste has to go somewhere. If it can't go down it *will* come up, and eventually what comes up won't be what you've just eaten, it will be, for want of a better word, poo. That is…

It would be good to be on the survivors side of the fence for a change. ;o) Message sent. (Let's hope that messages work when using my phone for the interwebs!)

It makes awesome Chilli and taco filling when replacing beef (tastes really good when made with various beans and chopped peppers)

I think any exercise is good exercise, so as long as you aren't exhausting or hurting yourself, I can't see why you can't continue with other work outs. I'm going to continue my Zumba twice a week and my walking.
-
Thanks for the tips guys. I did day 2 yesterday morning, and by yesterday evening my thighs were aching like mad! Luckily the rest of me seems okay though. Let's see what day 3 brings!

Hi, I'm fairly new to this too. I've been on here for 35 days and have lost 11 lbs. All I did to start with was track my food, I then looked to substitute for healthier alternatives, and tried to keep to my calorie goal. I also started Zumba classes, but just logging any walks or exercise on here helps you see what you're…

I'm 5ft 11(11.5 in the morning!) And am aiming for around 155lbs. It's more than I was when I was younger (I'm 25 now) but back then I didn't have hips.. They seemed to develop in my early 20s, so I'm factoring in a bit more for them ;)
