• I was planning a wedding and REFUSED to be a fat bride. It had more to do with picking the dress. I knew I would not be able to get the dress I wanted if I did not lose weight and my mom wanted to come with me and she always gave me anxiety when it came to picking out cloths. Fast forward 4 years and I never got married.…
• It takes a prox. 21 days to build a good habbit. So, demand that you do your best for 2 weeks and hopefully you will get back into the grove!

• Depression, Lack of confidence, lack of education about healthy eating, people around me who ate poorly , but riddiculed me for eating the same ( depression). I looked for comfort in food and while I was active, my over eating made sure thatI stayed over weight.
• pickles are usually in my salad, so pickle juice is my "dressing" of choice. Lemon as well or just plain no dressing! I did find a great oil free dressing over seas that I have not yet found here in the states but I am always on the hunt!!
• I am 5'7 my fiance is 5'6 and it is a bit awkward but not too much. If he were any shorter I would never have dated him in the first place, but to me an inch is no big deal. One thing you do have to consider if you are sexual active is the sex. It can be difficult and not as enjoyable with such a height difference.
• Putting work first when I started college. My grades fell, I skipped semesters to work more and put my education off all because they " needed" me and promised me things that never came to be. The day I quit to pursue my higher education and my dreams was the best day of my life.
• they are great and help you go through them slower. If I didn't freeze grapes I thin I would eat them all in one sitting lol and they are cool and refreshing for summer time. Frozen fruit is great, just don't freeze melons lol does not turn out well!!
• Oatmeal in the morning ( all water) 150 Slice of bread with Peanut butter 69 smoothie with protein powder. ( depends on powder and ingredients) an apple 72 grilled plain chicken breast, steamed veggies( larger meal) 300-400 This was a typical meal day for me, but comes in a little under I think, leaves room for an extra…
• The average person spends 9 hours with media daily and now that there are smart phones and hand held video games it is more like 16 only leaving time for sleep. Media in itself is not bad, but my god there is so much more that you can do with your day and more educated ways you can expand your mind than just watching TV.…
• I gave up all soda and honestly feel great, I felt the difference right away. When I do crave, I reach for soda water and that does the trick. I found I craved the bubbles more than the actual sweetness. I think that the downside of chemically made soda is worth giving it up and I get to eat more calories over drinking…
• Fish tacos are always A OKAY in my book. You can still season and bake the fish and add to it. Beans, homemade salsa, avocado, they make low calorie tortillas ( my favorite is father sam's 80 calorie). Great for family meals too, everyone gets to make their own :)
• haha no, I am not sure he is sabotaging but he is not tip toeing around making what he likes. My fiance doesn't cook, but what I do is keep pre cooked shredded chicken in the fridge for when he wants red meat. That way I get my protein and he gets his.
• First thing, measuring and portioning lost me 45 lbs and counting so never be discouraged. Calorie counting ( to me anyway) is not tedious and even when I am only maintaining I keep a general count in my head and it yields results so keep on keepin on. I think as long as your diet is balanced and people who are around you…
• Gavin Degraw. No picture but my goodness he is hot and I like older men lol
• I just made one too but with one egg, mustard and a little hummus. I forgot how good egg salad could be lol
• Fiance said he would buy me a new wardrobe. There is a Banana republic outlet near by... I cannot wait!
• No, they are not Zweigles! or white hots.
• I had my first burger in almost a year in an attempt to follow this rule. I did not feel good at all. I think for me, I will stick to the rule of just eat healthy foods.
•
"Meal timing and frequency have nothing to do with overall fat loss. It's remaning in a caloric deficit throughout the day that matters. That being said, you can eat whenever you want! :P You could eat 1 meal a day and still lose weight." (or gain weight also)
My fiance does the same thing, but only…
• If you hit your calorie limit, just don't eat more. It is unpleasant to be hungry, but it is alright. Once you are comfortable with this your body will adjust to being healthier and to not over eating. My favorite snacks are pretzels. I get the large rods or honey twists. You get a few good bites out of each one and they…
• My fiance and I started dating at my highest, but he has told me there is a limit and he was unsure if he could still be attracted to me at a higher weight. For that reason I understand where your hubby was coming from. sexual attraction is a huge part of a marriage, just as important as an emotional connection and respect…
• I don't see the point in lying to them. Why make them idolize fake people ( or bunnies) when they should look up to real people who do good things, not just give them stuff for nothing. I feel like more and more kids are focusing on the getting stuff and not being taught what these holidays are actually about.
• Either let the dog poop before the run or after. Before you can maybe run back inside and drop it off in the garbage, same for after, you wont be running with the bag till the next bin.
• I rarely eat my calories back and have lost weight at a steady pace. I take breaks often sometimes for a month at a time without counting calories and have never gained weight back. I am healthy and still losing and most importantly it works for me. Everyone get's to the party differently and to group all non exercise…
• I jump on the scale often, but you gotta keep in mind that it can be iffy. I think it is in your mind, when you see a lower number, you feel better and keep working. It can be hard to see such differences when you see your body every day.
• Yes it is so much better to bash someones opinion, intelligence and beliefs behind their back on a forum where they have no means to justify themselves. There are plenty of people on this website that would think the OP diet is unhealthy, would it be better they just bash them on another page and call her stupid and…
• PHEW! thanks for the advice and I hope you feel better tomorrow. I think I will do my just dance game for a little while instead lol. Good luck on your race!

• I wouldn't call someone stupid just becasue they are misinformed, it seems a little harsh. She might have read it someplace she felt was a reputable source hence her ability to site it as fact. It might have been better to engage her in a conversation about health and find out why she felt that way, and shared your info…
• I don't have kids yet, but I already know I will make a point to put them in leagues and schools that support competitive environments. I lost games from hide and seek to soccer tournaments when I was young and yes it is disappointing, but without those life lessons how can we learn to be better? @ the person whose husband…
• Public Relations or Marketing or communications can all get you roughly the same job with the potential for big bucks. Aiming for corporate or military sector then non profit work.
