Running elevation.
I've been signed up to do a 5k, not much for some but running is my nemesis. I've just looked and it's a hilly run. Elevations up to 180m...I'm doing running practice buy have no way of knowing how high any incline I might find while I am out are. hi, im thinking of getting a heart rate monitor, my spin teacher has started alternating her classes for between massively cardio based and endurance and she has said that knowing your heart rate helps you target. what are your recommendations? thanks.

I am quite bottom heavy, hips, saddlebags, thighs... what exercises can I try to target toning in the area? I run 6 miles a week, use a cross trainer, walk a lot, row and do some weights already.

ive lost a small child!
i weighed my son today, 3 yrs old weighs just over 2 stone. which is what i have lost! so i was carrying a 3 yrs old around on my for ages, no wonder my back was hurting!!

i just went to the gym...
and i survive. and i didnt get laughed at. and no one ran away at the sight of me in workout gear. granted it was for a induction..but none of it killed me!! i then done 20 mins on a running machine, and 10 on a elliptical thing. and 10 on a bike. today i am kicking *kitten*. all that, plus a 50 min walk and a zumba class…

does shopping count? went out christmas shopping with the darling man thing. we were out for 6 hrs!! for about an hour of it i was carrying 4kg weights!! would it count? i have put in 240 mins, 4 hrs, of walking at a slow pace.

i have another stone to loose, my calorie target per day is set to 1200. im really confused tho. i just entered my details on another place and was given 1600 as what i should eat. i know we are meant ot have a 500 cal deficit, but if that b4 of after exercise? women are 'meant' to have in general 2000 cals a day, right,…

ok, bear with me. my daily target is 1200 cals. so that makes 10,500 in the week( i think!!). and i know that you need to loose 500 cals a day to drop 1-2 lbs a week. which is already taken into account on the 1200. so my question is. say one day i have a bad day and have 2500 cals, then over the rest of the week i adjust…
