Ok, I am not completely familiar with the term, "biccies", but I think it's a biscuit, is that right? So, it's what you'd serve with tea? We call it a cookie and it generally has icing/frosting on it? If I am off, please forgive me! I think you can look for american recipes called iced sugar cookies and it would be a good approximation. Also, you can, (I do) use weight to measure all baking recipes. You don't have to use cups, but if your scale is broken that doesn't help!
try here, www.marthastewart.com for sugar cookies. Hope this helps!!!0 -
Also: allrecipes.com has some very good cookie recipes. I gave away brown sugar shortbread cookies that were well received (they smelled good).0
