Does external temperature affect cals burned? E.g. does an equivalent amount of exercise in cold vs. hot weather make any difference? (P.s. I'm aware if it does the effect is probably negligible, so this is really just a hypothetical question..)

I'm trying to create a fresh set of meal plans. My ultimate goal is to have 2 weeks worth that I can rotate to keep every day fresh and varied. I'm toying with the idea of having a different ethnicity meal each day, but I'm totally open to different ideas. Do any of you have meal plans you'd care to share?

What are your thoughts on Truvia (Stevia) I'm particularly interested in any studies that have been done on it? Better than aspartame surely, but better than splenda?

Chili recipes with no canned ingredients?
I'm looking to make some chili from scratch... mostly to avoid the sodium filled cans (even with low sodium canned varieties, so many cans go into a batch that it's hard to keep it down). Anyone got any good recipes or hints and tips?
