Do you subtract your BRM from your earned exercise cals?

Just wanted to ask if any of you do this and what your thoughts are on it...
Assuming you've got your activity level set to sedentary, your logged exercise cals are added to your daily allowance. But let's say you've got a hypothetical BMR of 2400/day - that's 100 cals per hour - and let's say your HRM tells you you've burned exactly 600 cals in an hours workout. Technically, to keep the math correct, you should only count 500 of them because 100 would have been burned anyway, even if you had not done any exercise at all.
I always tell people to avoid getting hung up on numbers and overthinking things, but just for gits and shiggles, do any of you guys subtract your BMR rate from exercise?

yes I do,
but I also log walking, and that means having on average 90 minutes of exercises per day. 90 minutes is about 100 kcal for me, and given I average 200 kcal deficit it's a lot.
also, I'm working in finance and accoutning so I love my numbers to be as exact as possible0
