Can you gain muscle when doing cardio and not eating a surplus?
I eat healthily as i can and follow a low carb, higher protein diet. eat alot of salds, porridge, scrambled eggs, chicken etc but i normally net quite alot under the 2000 calories. feel so guilty just binged on bread!
been feeling ill for a few days / sick etc and today my family bought a huge tiger bread loaf. i avoid bread normally as much as possible and white carbs in particular but it smelt and tasted so amazing that i just kept on eating it . I've just done a body pump (weight lifting class) by all means look at my diary today - feedback would be great. I ahve some cals left over and know i need to be meeting my target. What to class as water intake ( a glass etc..?)

If i'm doing cardio (walking, running and dance mainly) and a bit of strengh training (mainly mild e.g yoga, pilates etc,, should i alwys match my cal intake? I want to gain weight to get a healthy bmi but also gain muscle, if i'm only eating my bmr some days will i see no muscle gain?

What classes as a glass of water in order to log?
I tend to count squash, bottles etc.. as my water glass counter thing. How many ml is a 'glass'? i tend to log a 500ml bottle as one drink. I also count decaff tea etc.. as a drink. what do you do?

What to log les mills body combat?+cals burnt
The suggested calorie burn for a body combat class is 737 cvalories, however i don't know what weight this is based on and none of the les mills classess are on the system. What do you log it as? and how long?

Half a cup is a serving? Help i have double this?! confused
: :embarassed: Half a cup of alpen is around 45g apparently which is a serving size and contains 170 cals. + milk I was thinking more 1 cup serving and milk but this would add up to around 440 calories (inc 200ml milk) Is this too much for breakfast/ is this healthy/normal? should i need this much? help help help.
