Too sore to Turbofire...
I was cranking the fitness a few months ago and got quite a few weeks into Turbofire (and lost quite a few kilos too which was nice). Then I let it go for a while, now I'm trying to pick it up again but every time I Turbo, my legs are insanely sore for a good couple of days after. I don't really get why this is happening…

Question for guitar playing pros
I'm really seriously having a crack at being actually skillful with my guitar playing after years of just coasting and I'm starting to wonder, with short hands/arms, am I setting myself up for failure persisting in using a full sized guitar? (Thumb to pinkie spans 16 cms)

Can girls be beautiful if
they don't shave their leg and underarm hair? (I am one of these girls so keep the cries of disgust to a dull roar please). I ask because I'm feeling much happier about my body since I've slimmed down a bit and I'd love to do something goofy/fun/sexy like burlesque but in all honesty, could I show my body on stage if I…

Question for guys/body language.
Context: You know a woman in a professional context (but fairly informal because we're talking music scene here, you put on events, she's the sound tech) Body language in question: Hello and goodbye hugs (don't know this person outside of the working context) and occasionally placing of a hand on her hip whilst asking…

Getting energised after TurboFire
What's a good way to recuperate after a Turbofire session (not shakeology)? I've tried fresh vegetable juice, and fruit smoothies (for some kind of natural sugar hit), not working terribly well. I also try eating after (seeing as I have all those extra calories now), that's not working either (look at diary. Everything…

Recovering energy
SO I'm back Turboing now and happy as a pig in mud, I eat plenty accommodate those intense burns but I still find myself feeling a little flat post work out. I've been experimenting with green smoothies and vegetable juice trying to get some energy back but they don't seem to be cutting the mustard. Not keen on shakeology,…

New to these, trying to get into them in the hopes they might boost my energy and see me consuming a good amount of the fresh stuff on days when I can't be bothered making salad. Ravenously hungry on maintenance.
I've been on maintenance for a couple of months, I was finding it doable but the last couple of days I've been super hungry, and I find if I don't eat, I get headaches and sometimes feel nauseous. Diary should be open, please feel free to have a look and critique.

managing money
I've recently started a small business under something called the NEIS agreement and part of this agreement is that I submit quarterly yearly income statements, which means I need to know how much the business has made, and how much it has spent, and what the profit is.... my brain is starting to melt though because I get…

Attaining self control
Nothing to do with food, but something to do with self control. I'm a freelance sound engineer, I work for myself, more realistically, for the musicians who employ me and to whom I am ultimately accountable but working from home and all, it's so easy to not do the work (which I actually really enjoy once I get into it) and…

Boosting metabolism
Has anyone got any advice for boosting metabolism? A friend of mine spent a period of time eating only 1000 calories a day and working out and it's screwed hers up. Just to add to the challenge, she has gastroparesis so can't eat any solids/struggles to eat enough (averaging 600 calories a day)

Pimping up scones and other breads question...
So I can make scones at home, quite small, 3 cups of self raising flour and scone based sundry will give 16 little snack sized scones, they come in at about 100 cals each although it's impossible to be happy with one so lets call it a 200 cal scone based snack (eating two). So my first bit of frankensconing was to add some…

Very hungry, no exercise days
After really getting into exercise and getting to burning on average 600 calories a day (and eating accordingly) I now find myself over-eating on days where, for one reason or another, i don't get to exercise (days when it's too hot for example). Does anyone who normally exercises a lot and eats a lot, have any strategies…

Uses for juicer pulp...
Can anyone recommend any? I thought maybe carrot and celery could be snuck into spaghetti sauce but only in small amounts and there is bound to be pulp left over, what else can I do with it? Also, anyone have any thoughts about the possibility of the pulp being contaminated with pesticides (after washing), the juice having…

Afterburn...
What's the deal, are calories being burnt? If I stretch after an intense work out, I'll get higher numbers on my HRM, are those calories really being burned or is my elevated heart rate skewing the data?

Fat and Fatter - Wow
(Sorry if this is the wrong spot). I hope everyone participating in this show learns a lot in the process, I for one can use it as a barometer of my progress - I could never eat like this anymore (maybe ever in the case of some of the meat dishes)! Woah! http://www.abc.net.au/iview/#/view/698001

Sensible ice coffee
Sometimes I just want to drink a refreshing cafe style ice coffee, cream and ice cream and all. So, rather than buying something giant from the cafe, I've started trying to make them at home, but more low cal. Has anyone injured themselves doing the 30DS
Mainly, I read from someone that by the end of the month, their ankles were in terrible shape, now that I think about it, I can feel mine starting to crack and twinge. I don't want to stop shredding but don't want to do damage either. Anyone that's been hurt, what did you hurt? Does anyone know good stretches and exercises…

To suck it in or not?
Someone once told me that, generally, when you see a skinny person, they are holding their tummy in. The thought occurs to me that, sometimes when you see a larger person, they too might be sucking their tummy in and, that it is probably good to do so, but I am much to lazy, and spontaneously curious as to how many people…

Mostly, this breaks my heart
http://www.mybodygallery.com/ The pictures are interesting, honest, helpful after being deluged with skinny actresses and cartoons and (worst offender) anime characters. The stories however break my heart. Fat, thin or both, that so many of these women have spent so long hating their bodies, that isn't right. That Other…
