Running my first half..any advice?
Hi all, I'm running my first half marathon in a couple weeks and I'm very nervous. I feel like I'm going to be so slow and come in last! Ive been training but i feel like it hasnt been enough. Does anyone have any good tips for having a successful race? Much appreciated :)

Half marathon
I've been semi-training for a half marathon and now I've got 2 months left. I plan to kick myself into gear. Is this enough time to train? I have to finish within 3 hrs and 30 mins which is a 16 min mile. Right now I'm running around 12 minute miles up to 6 miles. Please let me know!

hungrier on rest days?
I noticed today that I'm WAY hungrier than I am on days I work out. Is this normal? I work out 6 days a week and today is my off day. Just wondering if that is typical or if there's something off?

Double NSV!
Double NSV alert!!! I know it's not amazing or anything but I feel good!! I just ran 40 minutes straight which I've never done and also ran 4 miles straight without stopping!!

I did it!
I officially ran my first 5K this morning in 31 minutes which is my best time ever! I also came in 516 place out of 1293 participants!! That is top 40%! So happy :) Happy Thanksgiving!!

I don't understand. A few weeks ago I weighed 200 which I found to be strange that I gained 12 pounds in a few weeks....Now I weigh 208...but my clothes are looser and I don't feel as heavy...why is the scale going up but I'm not?!?! This is too confusing....I know muscle weighs more but How did I gain that much muscle…

I heard that if you workout at a heart rate that is too much, you burn fat slower..is that true? I think that may be my problem.

Hi everyone!! I just wanted to share that I had another Small NSV!!! Last Friday I ran the 5K in 34:55..today I set a goal for myself to run it in 34:30 and I did it in 33:00!!!!!!!!!!!!

Training Question!
I'm running a 5K on thanksgiving and I was wondering how many days a week I should be training. Right now I haven't take any rest days..should I be? Or should I workout everyday but do a different exercise (besides running) on some days? Also what about the day or 2 days before the race?? Any help would be appreciated!!!!

Small NSV
Hi Everyone, I'm currently getting ready for my FIRST 5K! Every day I set a goal on how fast I am going to run it. Today my goal was 35:00 and I ran it in 34:55! I hope to continue to get faster and faster. I'm really excited about it even though it's a small victory :)
