I am part Irish and I play in an Irish folk band. The few weeks surrounding St. Patrick’s Day are always insane. The first two shows are super fun and then it gets really monotonous. I look at St. Pat’s with a mix of fondness and terror.1

All it is to me is a day to look on the internet at all the Americans thinking they are Irish for a day and using it as an excuse to drink as the world laughs at them.1
