Successes / struggles this week: I need to get more sleep but I love the quiet late at night. My main exercise is walking. I need to add some other exercise to tone up other areas (tummy, c-section and two other abdominal surgeries have made this a problem area, lol)

    Good luck everyone.

Thanks for starting the challenge. It's the first one I've participated in here. I do intermittent fasting (8 hour eating windows) and keep my carbs under 100g. I do great during the week but splurge too much on the weekends. I am working on increasing my water intake and getting exercise in. My weight loss is very slow, so I'll be very happy if I can lose 6 lbs. by Christmas!

Hi Sarah, you don't edit, just hit the quote button, remove the code around the text to get rid of the quotation marks (like your post above which I've quoted) and then add to your weigh ins, and hit post, to create a new post every week

    Successes / struggles this week:

Success: Running consistently seems to be really helping, so I'll keep that up. I'm at 2 miles a day and increasing slowly. I should be up to 3 miles daily by Christmas. I'm planning to run a 5k with my daughter in early December.

Struggles: Limiting my beer consumption to a pint or two every other day. Not eating too much at dinner and not helping my daughter finish hers (she eats like a bird). Realizing that I can "waste" food. It's either wasted in the trash or wasted in my body.

    Successes / struggles this week:

Success: I suppose the weight loss is the biggest success! I went to a conference at my college today and did my best to avoid the more fried finger foods. I opted for a chicken salad sandwich and a side salad and a side serving of bow tie pasta, and more cheese and wine, fruits, and the grilled chicken during the evening hours.

Struggles: Water consumption. I drank more coffee and wine than actual water, and I'm looking forwards to going back to drinking at least 50oz a day starting today. I also struggled getting to the gym this week, and I think this weeks loss was mainly because I was busy at the conference and didn't have much time to eat.

Hope everyone is having a good week!
