Women, what are "maintenance calories" for you?
I just recently moved to maintenance (planning to do a recomp) and am working on figuring out what I need to eat to maintain. I am currently at 1600 calories, wanting to move up by 50-100 per week and see where I end up. I do also eat back 1/2-all of my exercise calories. I'm 5'7", 38 years old and have PCOS. I do HIIT…

Scale vs Measurements
So I THINK I'm at my goal weight. Why do I think? Because the scale tells me I'm still 3lb off, but my measurements tell me I'm there (and also my jeans sagging off a bit like they used to). What should I believe? The scale or the measurements? :ohwell:

Maintaining Weight - Should I Eat Kcal Burnt?
Good afternoon I have come across a slight dilemma, as noted below. Anyway, MyFitnessPal has calculated that due to my measurements I…

1200 to 1600 stories?
Hi! I finally "bit the billet" and upped from 1200 to about 1600, because I was still loosing on 1200. I'm a tad panic'ed because I don't have a scale at the moment and cannot weigh to make sure I am not gaining. Anyone have any stories to share in favor of this increase? Could I actually gain on this amount? I'm 5'3, 18…

Eating Back Exercise Calories Question
Now that I'm in a comfortable place, I would like to increase calories to stop losing inches/weight so I don't get too thin. I've been using MFP's maintenance calories of 1690 and ate back all my exercise calories but found out that they weren't my real maintenance calories, and I am still losing. So I've decided I would…

Please don’t fear temporary weight gain

Keeping a deficit to make up for 'binges'
