hey MFP family I'm 5'2 and currently 127 lbs. My starting weight was 141 lbs (Jan 7, 2014). My goal is 125 lbs and i have my goal set on maintaining (1,600 calories daily). yesterday i worked out for 2 hours doing a mix of everything but i usually work out at least a hour 5-6 days out the week.I'm in the best shape I've ever been in and i would like 127 to be my highest weight and my lowest to be i guess 124 since weight fluctuates.
the question is if i just eat the 1600 calories and not log my exercise will i lose the last few pounds in a healthy manner without bulking?

Do you know your TDEE? Use a calculator to determine this - it will give you a better idea than MFP's maintenance estimate as it includes your exercise activity.

p.s. you will not bulk unless you consistently eat above maintenance.0 -

okay thanks i will
update- my tdee is 1543 at sedentary and 1768 at exercise level at 3x's a week. this helps alot0 -
I think you would, slowly. I eat 1600 just now and I am the same height as you. If I stick to 1600 the whole week I do lose weight but I like to have a bit more cals at the weekend so it tends to be maintenance for me.0

slow and steady wins the race. that's sounds fine to me.0 -
I was thinking of doing the same thing. Eating at maintenance and just working out. As long as you are not counting calories back then you will lose weight slowly.
I am 5'3 162 (of course diff stats then you) and I am losing 1 pound a week with a 1600 TDEE, so I would definitely eat at your TDEE.
You definitely will not bulk. Bulk happens when eating at a surplus.0
