Getting to Twoterville soon!
Today for the first time, when i finished my food for the day, MFP gives you a blurb and says "if you eat like this you will be ___ in 5 weeks" Well finally it put me into Twoterville! I cannot believe it. Since Feb 21, i have lost 48 pounds. I love seeing the numbers go down, which is part of my motivation. I'm doing a…

The Possibilities!
Hi there...my name is Renell but most ppl call me Ren. I started "dieting" back in March (really the last week of February) but I didn't actually weighed myself until 3/23/17, because I was too afraid to step on a scale. Sure enough this was the reason why...I weighed 184 at the time! (My heaviest

So I managed to drag my carcass up Ben Nevis -biggest mountain in Britain!
Joined mfp last month as have joined the gym, seeing a pt and tracking meals to try and shift this two stone that's been loitering for years and refusing to shift. Went for a wee jaunt up Ben Nevis -am a novice hill walker. That was one tough 6hr 40 minute round trip through sunshine to hammering rain to sleet and mist at…

Losing it and Lovin' Life
Since I started tracking my nutrition again with FitnessPal, I lost 8 lbs in three weeks. This morning I was able to pull a pair of pants off of the "too tight" rack in my closet and wear them to work. I look forward to being able to return all of those cute clothes to my usable wardrobe. Small changes really do make a…

Plus size jeans too big
The sales clerk had to walk me over to the misses jeans department when I told her my 16W plus size jeans are too big. I asked if there is such a thing as a 14w. Turns out I am now a 16 ave misses after losing only 8 pounds. For me the scale is not a reflection of my effort as much as the measuring tape and clothes are.

Upside Down and Inside Out you're leaving me.
I've always gone by the numbers, a hyperlipidemic 54 yo. Male sw. 264 cw. 233 gw.180. I have been Keto and low carb for 16 months so I just wanted to share my numbers from the past 7 months. I have tried to inform folks about this woe but I'm fine if they don't get it. No I did not lose 25lbs. in the first 8 weeks, it's a…

Are there any 6'+ girls success stories out there?
I lost 45 lbs over the past year starting with using intermittent fasting prescribed for my high triglycerides. I'm just starting to get into exercise now. I'm 6'2" SW: 230 CW: 185. I'll never be a size 2, my smallest was a 10 because I have wide hip bones, but i'm happy at a size 12. Any other tall girls having success?

Any public diaries to share?
Hello everyone! I know fitness goals are personal and diets should vary individually, but just wondering if there are anyone with public diaries? I would love to see your entries to be motivated! ^^

Any success stories from swimming? (Before and after pics)
I was on MFP a few years ago and had a lot of success with it. Unfortunately, over the years, the weight has piled back on so I'm here again! I usually train a few times a week (weight lifting and cardio) but had a nasty injury on holiday that has left me with a pretty horrendous ligament rupture so I can no longer do…

Could Use Some Motivation-Female Friends
I joined MFP about a month or so ago. I have a fair amount of weight to lose-40-55 pounds or so. I'll have a better idea of what my goal weight is as I get closer. I've lost weight in the past and regained. I am not close to my heaviest, but I have put on more weight over the past few years than I should have. I am taking…

Week 1 done and DAMN!!
First week weight in using the app. 9 pounds gone! What a difference. Not hungry, very noticeable in the mirror and feel great! I wanted to lose 10 lbs as a reasonable goal over a 8 week period. Didn't know I would do it in basically a week. Going for another 10 pounds. At that weight I will actually be the correct weight…

600 days in
Apparently I've logged in 600 days in a row and if that doesn't call for a little woop-woop I don't know what does. In that time I've lost over 12kg (or 25lbs) and gone from a NZ size 14/16 to a 10/12. I'm not at my goal yet, but pretty happy with where I'm at. It's been a long road - 600 days?! But I have some food…

Hypothyroidism/PCOS Success
Four years ago, life caught up with me (eating out, drinking, little to no physical activity, etc.) and my weight was at its highest. I was unhappy and unhealthy at the mere age of 23. After many tears, I decided to try out MyFitnessPal in March 2012 - a free smartphone app and website that tracks diet and exercise to…

101 days, 34lbs down, lots of no-scale wins
It's not a crazy loss, I know that, but here are some victories that are motivating me to continue... 1. I can walk to work without having to mentally tackle the hill while catching my breath. I'm beasting the hill every day 2. My walk to work is 5mins faster than 3 months ago, reducing it from 17-12mins 3. I comfortably…

Thankful for MFP, shout out
I'm letting people know that MFP is the greatest place I've found. I've learned how to track the foods I eat, before MFP I would eat stuff that I thought was good. Now I can look at foods before it goes in my mouth. I've become friends with people that have helped me on my journey too. If you think MFP is one of the…

My 10k
So today I did my third 10k (same one 3rd year running, no other races in between.) Menopause is hitting hard and my body is doing all kind of weird stuff, hormones all over the place, and my anxiety and stress levels have been way out of control. I have also had problems with Achilles tendinitis and plantir fasciatis. So…
