gaining since complete hysterectomy

I'm having a very hard time since having my surgery. I have gained 20lbs. since may.I can't get my eating under control or get my exercise level back up. If anyone has some good information or motivation please comment.

Did you have your ovaries out as well? I am having a hysterectomy on Jan 5, so while I haven't gone through this yet, I know that when the docs were playing with my meds that also messed with my hormones I had a similar issue. I was constantly hungry, and couldn't control myself. I had gained about 15lbs during a 5 month time frame. After my hormones balanced themselves out I managed to get back on track and I am now at my lowest weight in over 16 years. Good luck and I give yourself time to balance out.
