Honey Mashed Carrots/side dish

1 pound carrots peeled cut into 1-inch pieces
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons light butter
1 teaspoon honey
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon pepper
place carrots and 3/4 teaspoon salt in 3-quart saucepan add enough water to cover carrots by 2 inches cook over medium heat 7-9 minutes or until water comes to a boil reduce heat to medium cook 20-25 minutes or until carrots are tender drain carrots return to pan add remaining salt and all remaining ingredients mash with potato masher until smooth
