Best arm workouts to decrease arm flab and get toned?

Just curious! I've been wanting to focus on toning up my arms, especially my biceps and upper arm area. Just to get my arms thinner? Especially that flabby area (embarrassing but it runs in the family!) - what is the best suggestion to do? I'm getting married in December so it's two months away! I'd like to look my best.
Thanks! Have a great Wednesday!

You can't really spot-tone or spot-reduce fat. And in 2 months, you may see some progress, but don't be disappointed if it's not what you're picturing in your head. I just want you to be aware that realistic expectations are needed.
That said, you'll get the most "bang for your fitness buck" with compound lifting. Looking to "New Rules of Lifting for Women" or "Strong Lifts 5x5". Both are great beginner programs.0 -
I'm just replying to try out the new forum. But agree with Lora. No such thing as spot reducing. Decrease your overall body fat and the flub will eventually disappear.0

I have started carrying 6kg ( 3 kg each weight ) while using the treadmill, and lifting as i walk, it helps keep my heart rate up for the cardio, and also my puny little biceps are no longer squidgy, well not AS squidgy lol. I dont run on the treadmill, ankle injury doesnt allow, but I put the gradient up high and the speed up until i am just short of jogging.
Its not proven or tested but it works for me, i have only been doing it 2 weeks. dont get me wrong i am no arnie, but my bingo wingos are less and my arms look a better shape. But everyone is different.

lose some body fat overall. also exercise your biceps and triceps with fairly heavy weights. as you lose fat, the muscle will help fill in any loose skin. besides, the women i've seen with the nicest arms have some muscle, and it looks great!0

Just do every arm and chest workout you can find, toning your muscles will make your arms slimmer a little, but overall fat loss over time will uncover the muscles.0
