What do you least/most like about the locker room at your gym?

Me: least like the old out of shape guys who cannot seem to cover themselves up. Most like the fact that when I get in there I am done with hopefully a long hard workout

The only thing that is going to bother me is if someone is doing something perverted or gross. Its a locker room and there are going to be naked people. Personally I have no problem with seeing them naked. Good for them for being confident enough to stroll around naked!! :p

I go to my school gym so I have no problems about people walking around naked. It just does not happen.

    Most?
The bathroom area is pretty big,
and the private changing area is big (though I don't use it).
The bench in front of the lockers is deep.

    Least?
People who talk on their phones (despite signs saying not to),
people who don't put a lock on their lockers,
people who take the locker right next to mine when there are plenty of other empty ones,
the dripping showerhead that never gets fixed,
the toilet door without a latch,
the gunk on the walls of the showers,
the cleaning supplies left sitting out of the maintenance closet by the staff,
the lockers are too short front to back & top to bottom,
    there aren't enough lockers,
and then there was the woman who stood on the bench (in front of my locker) so she could see her butt in the mirror and didn't wipe off where she put her dirty shoes.

As for naked people, it's a locker room. Get over it.
It's a gym. There are going to be people who aren't Mr/Ms Universe. Get over it. At least they're there trying to better themselves.

The smell. Even though there are showers and sprays.. people still leave stinking.

My gym is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu gym, so the changeroom is basically social hour. We all chat over the shower stalls, and while getting dressed. It's great.

Worst? Sometimes you see signs of the lack of hygiene some people have - the ones who don't shower after training, or walk barefoot to the toilet and then back out to the mats... Ugh. In the grappling world, we are at a higher risk to skin infections, and that's the kind of disgusting stuff that causes impetigo, staph, ringworm, or worse: MRSA.

The women who squat under the handryer to dry their hair naked . . . can't they at least put on panties! I really don't want to know them that well.

To be honest, I envy the confidence/dgaf attitudes of those who happily get changed/wander about naked. For me it's get changed ASAP, even if I then sit there for a few minutes to mix a shake.

Least favourite thing about my gym's locker room? I guess it could be bigger, and the sharps bin makes me feel a little uncomfortable, to be honest.

Favorite: it's always clean, and the staff is really nice. Least favorite: no direct access from the locker room to the pool, so you have to parade across the lobby in your swimsuit going to and from the pool.

Least: we can't use the lockers permanently (no locks) because there aren't enough to go around. Some people leave things in them eventhough they're not supposed to...very annoying when you're just trying to find one to temporarily unload your gym bag.

Most: we get free stuff now and then. When someone buys a shampoo or lotion (or sometimes even exercise DVDs or fitness mags) they decide they don't like, they bring it into the locker room and leave it for someone else to use/take.

Re nudity - my gym is at work so more often than not, the ladies tend to hide in the toilet or shower stalls to change. I'm pretty modest but don't mind people seeing me in my undies.

I'm never sure if I should be thinking 'Hey, I guess that's responsible' or 'What the f***?'. It wasn't there when the gym first opened, it's arrived in the past month or so.

I work out at home, currently. But I've seen my share of locker rooms. I'm mostly indifferent to the experience unless the place is noticeably dirty and/or smelly.

Just saying, I need insulin after working out...no need to freak out, maybe you just got yourself a diabetic in the house.
