Welcome to the journey! If you develop healthy exercise and nutrition habits, you'll make great progress and reach your goals. The key is to give this journey enough time and consistency for your new habits to take affect.

If you're looking for support, I help to run support groups through Facebook. We have lots of people in there that are improving themselves and helping everyone else to stay accountable. We teach about proper nutrition and how to exercise. I'd be happy to chat with you about it if that is something that you're looking for.

Hello - just started the program 2 weeks ago trying to lose a good amount of weight. Eating 1200 calories a day. At first is was tough and now due to the simple awareness of what I'm putting in my mouth it's a little easier. That and the realization that if I make HEALTHY choices, I can eat more which sometimes is necessary to ease the craving monster inside of me. BTW - I've lost 6 pounds to date. The thing that I really need to work on is my exercise - hard to do with arthritis but I'm going to find something that works for me and stick with it.

Welcome - and hopefully you're able to find the support you need here and friends to help with that. When I first joined, I made a good 30 friends on here and they are REALLY supportive and helpful. It's made the site fun to use and worthwhile.

    Good luck.

Welcome. I have Arthritis to but manage to walk everyday and I'm currently swimming once a week which I find a great help. Feel free to add me as we both head towards our goal.
