Just dank 6L of water tonight, is it bad?

So yeah I just drink all night, and right now just drink 6 liters of water. Is that in any way bad? This was over the course of like 4 hours.

if you feel light headed or dizzy get help. Otherwise you'll be fine. Google hyponatremia

Why did you drink 6l? I drink 8-9l of water a day, but that's a comfortable amount for me. If you're forcing 6l of water in a few hours, I wonder why?

I also wonder why. When I'm hiking, especially when it is hot and humid, it is not unreasonable to drink a lot of water and still be mildly dehydrated (signs include darker yellow and infrequent urine, for example) - 6L in 4 hours is sometimes going to leave one dehydrated. So... were you actually exercising and sweating a lot? Or did you just drink a bunch of water because you were thirsty and were still thirsty and drinking water when you realized how much you had drunk?

If you were not exerting yourself or sweating, and you were that thirsty, do you have any other unusual symptoms? Personally, I have type 1 diabetes and I know that when my blood sugar is high, I am very thirsty and drink a lot of water... and this is also a symptom of those who have just developed type 1 and are not yet diagnosed. There are probably other medical possibilities if you have unusual sudden extreme thirst.

OK, I have known some people who spend hours and hours gaming and drinking Mt. Dew, so water is definitely better comparitively. Are you hitting your calorie goals, and are you getting the right macronutrients and micronutrients? If yes, and there are no symptoms of any problems of hyper-hydration, then I would think you are alright.

I will usually hit the minimums of fat, carbs, and sodium for sure. It'm having a hard time actually trying to keep within my calorie and nutrient limit. Waiting on for Quest bars with fiber to fill me up.
