Pedometer on Iphone 5C!?!?

Morning all,
I have noticed there are tonnes of apps claiming to be good pedometers, however I only have a iPhone 5C meaning I don't have the M7 Processor (movement tracking). I have 2 apps, pacer and MotionX 24/7, the only problem is they are already reading about 250 steps out, Pacer 1100, MotionX 850.
